Why did this conjure a picture of Clinton''s voice saying "I never should have sold that arsenal" rather than " I never Had *** with that woman "? - Reply to this comment
- Make no mistake, in the next attack on Obama''''s watch , it cannot be blamed on Bush. He has made every attempt possible to bring Obama up to speed, (which means intel is only as good as the source you chose to believe and act on).
Gut feelings are for big money traders and Presidents.

Oh really. So if, for instance, Bush''s policies have radicalized the entire Islamic world and we see the consequences of that in the next four years, we can''t say Bush was, in part or in full, the cause. - Reply to this comment
- The object is to PREVENT the attacks in the first place - not in how you react AFTERWARDS.

- But once I have that warning, I can make plans to act / react accordingly.
Not to go on a 7 week vacation, and NEVER give credence to the threat at all.

In an internal targeting threat, is the metal colander with feet the best quick and close plan?
I hope the Zar answers that one on the 21st too. - Reply to this comment
- how about "We ain''''''''t gonna get bin laden" period, if the Special Forces haven''''t been able to find him yet, what makes you think they will now ? because Obama''''s in office for 4 years ? no

American Special Forces don''t have it as together as you think. In comparison to French Commandos or Russian Spetsnaz, American Special Forces are rubes. - Reply to this comment
- Well first of all, house to house fighting is a new concept created by donnie rumsfeld. Usually armies don''''t do that sort''''a thing.. at least not in free countries. And secondly, Afghanistan is too moutainous.. its a ''''ya gotta live there'''' type thing. The Russians found that out the hard way, and now we are.. thanks to Bush.

I guess maybe that''s true, because in Nam it was hooch to hooch.
WWII it was Villa to Villa or farm house to farm house.
We can blame Rummy for it as house to house, sounds good man. - Reply to this comment

And I was for Afghanistan. But by going into Iraq, Bush completely destoyed any chance we had for success in Afghanistan. The Iraq debacle is directly linked to and part of the lack of success we are having in Afghanistan. You can''t seperate the two. And getting the camps wasn''t enough. Afghanistan needs to be stabilized, otherwise those camps are going to pop right back up. Even a first year cadet knows you don''t go to war on two fronts. - Reply to this comment

It''''s just too bad those security measures weren''''t in place, when Bush received the al Qaeda warnings, instead of AFTER the attack.
And the ONLY time I fly anymore, is if the drive is 12 hours or more.

It would be wiser to chainsaw the Katie Obama love fest than the little people with opinions.
CBS is dissed in most coffee bars, as not credible news source.
When is she going to be announced to be his Press Secretary?
Maybe you can get a real journalist who displays no biases that doesn''t reek as bad as old Congress does.
Journalism and Congress needs a do overis a strong perception.
Just look at Joe, who is "the most trusted name in Journalism" to this Public today.

- I''''m not making any ecuses for failure. 9/11 was an event unlike any other in the world in history. No one could have ever imagined the scope and plot involved. Actually, it was planned under Clinton''''s watch, and executed under Bush''''s so they are both to blame if we are blaming anyone. I''''m glad there hasn''''t been another one. But to answer your yes or no question, I would say "yes"

Are you saying that you would have made the same excuses for failure to act on the same intel if 9-11 had happened on Clinton''s watch?
It''s a simple yes or no answer.

You continue to prove your increasing levels of stupidity, day by day. Instead of falling for all the internet rumors, lies and conspiracy theories that your far right wing masters want you to believe and spread, why don''t you learn what Obama is really about. He''s not perfect, but all this garbage about Obama not believing in anything you belive in is too stupid to even have to comment on. - Reply to this comment

- Obama recognizes Syria''s and Iran''s roles in funding, equipping and training proxy armies throughout the Mideast and Africa. No Western Leader has broached this subject directly with these two countries. It will be interesting to see what pans out when these two countries are called out on their active international terrorist involvements.
