Tasks Unlimited in Minnesota has an excellent program with the best outcomes of any supported employment program in the US Google the name and get to their website. I worked for them for 23 years.

It seems like my daughter was in a program like this in Rockford, IL. One employeer even came and got her and brought her home from work. We were really happy about that. She liked her job. She is good at clerical work and computers. She has a Business Degree. But she missed just one day of work when she was sick and was abruptly "dumped". The owner mumbled something about her working from home in the future and then nothing was forthcoming. It is such a shame. She enjoyed making her own money and sending things to her ex-husband for her little girls. She got up every day and got ready and went. Now she is on SS disability and doing nothing.

Most clients could work but where are the jobs, especially for pros and college graduates? And where will the coaches come from? Love Mom
