- Geeze, hope California Governor can pull his state out of debt. Too bad he is not a famous actor, he could do a couple movies, and "SHAZAM!!!" , he could pull the whole state out of debt for at least 10 years. I''m sure a man with his money drawing entertainment talents would not be looking for a free handout. What do you, think????

- Fahren451 is obviously a hardcore liberal, possibly from CA... me, I lived there long enough to recognize a socialist environment. Time to stop blaming politicians, they all have their hands in our pockets, both democrats and republicans. Blame Bush now, later you can blame Obama, Clinton or whoever else comes along. Bottom line, none of the politicians over the past 5 presidents (Dem/Rep) have done a thing to stop illegal immigration, except to grant amnesty and invite more in.... enjoy it, as more are coming. Glad we moved our practice to NZ.

I am from a flyoversville state, a Federal Tax TAKER state. I already stated why it is that there has been nothing done about it, and it has nothing to do with socialism and everything to do with downward pressure on laborer wages. Tell me, genius, how does that make me a liberal? - Reply to this comment
- come 21 January 09 BHO and Reid and Pilosie will redistribute the wealth from those who have to those who have not. Don''t worry CA, you will get yours.
After a year or so of this, there will be nothing to redistribute, so we will all be broke.
Hurray, hurray, hurray!!! - Reply to this comment
- What does any state in the US expect when they continue to hand out public assistance like candy, as if it''s anyone''s RIGHT in this country to be taken care of contributing little back to society. They pay little in taxes to their states and then the states wonder why they are broke. Hello???

- It would be nice if California just had a SHORTFALL into the ocean.

- Seems like California is just a prelude to what will happen throughout the country. As the economy worsens and unemployment rises the politicians want to give more welfare to the voters. The problem is that they need these same voters to pay for it. It is kind of hard to give out more then comes in yet the government continues to remove any incentive to work and prosper by it''s punitive taxes. Kind of like a cat chasing it''s tail. But as it gets older the tail becomes harder to catch.
