For several election cycles now the the republicans have campaigned on nothing but lies. Remember the lie, "Al Gore said he invented the internet"? Here is the real quote....

Interesting how since Obama won the entire world is moving forward to a more civilized type of life.

downsteamjim, Geesh! At the time Mohammed lived, it was common in Europe for the aristocrats to betroth children as young as infancy. Marriages were often completed when children were 11, 12, 13, etc - including consumation. You had best d*mn your European ancestors at the same time if you want to try that type of smear.
