Comments on: Obama Makes Plans To Close Guantanamo
CBS Evening News: President-Elect Looks To Fulfill Campaign Promise; But What To Do With The Prisoners?
- AGAIN - Baghdad_Bob_is_here - OBL said in his 1996 and 1998 fatwa''''s, that every Islamic has an obligation to attack Americans where ever they find them, as retaliation for our helping Israel in their genocide against the Palestinians, and because we have our military STILL in Saudi Arabia, which they consider "holy land".
Our own 9/11 commission AGREED that is the reason we were attacked.

Wrong again, hungryTroopTrasher,,
We were attacked in 9/11 because Saddam was seeking revenge after being kicked off Kwait. It had nothing to do with Israel or Palestinians. By the way I see no genocide against Palestinians. Its HAMAS who fire rockets against Israel on a daily basis. - Reply to this comment

I have been to GTMO, in fact three times because I had a unit down there. My young American troopers did not torture and did not allow torture. Those dudes are bad guys, plain and simple. I''m not saying they need to be executed. But I am saying that we need to stop blaming American first and stop coddling these guys.
Ask yourself this question: Would you feel comfortable with your daughter dating one of these guys?...If not, then how can you underpin your argument that they are innocent and merely in th wrong place at the wrong time. If you do feel comfortable with that thought, then more power to you; you are one forgiving, trusting person.
As for me, keep them there. They get three meals a day, a warm dry place to sleep, and have an exercise yard ot goof off in. I have seen it. - Reply to this comment
- I hope it is a false report that was listed in a newspaper today - that Obama intends to investigate Bush regarding Guantanamo. That would be a total waste of his gov''t money which he already has plans for.

- I DEFY you to post proof that they do.
Bizarre. Absurd.
With ALL of the proof, and the internet at his fingertips, he STILL refuses to use common sense. OBVIOUSLY he''''s a christian.

Nowhere in the Quron does it say ''convert or die''. It is the morons who have perverted their religion who proclaim that. Second, if I were a christian, what does my religious affiliation have to do with what the ''terrorists'' say is their goal? - Reply to this comment
- I have an idea. Send them to New York. Put them in a I Luv New York t-shirt and send them home with a democrat.

No response to my post from 10:08 am?
I''''d like to see your proof / evidence to back up your wild, unproven assertions.
Particularly in the face of OBL''''s own words and the findings of the 9/11 commission report.

Cute. Kinda tart but without real substance. If I were to say something like that it would have read ''And have a VALID thought process. They are mutually exclusive.'' But it was a good try and I applaud you for it. - Reply to this comment
