We have to know, we need to know and they are treating us like mushrooms for "our own good"... We are way passed that... they don''t want us to know because they are lying to us AGAIN... We are losing our democracy friends, they have taken control and are not going to give it back... we have been manipulated and stolen from like a third world country dictatorship. We the people, need to squeeze them until they pop!

- This ticks off the public! Congress cannot allow a lame duck President and his cabinet to cart money away to their friends. Step in fast, Congress ... and seize control back. Now!

- For 200 years this country was built from the bottom up and became the greatest nation in history. Then along came Ronald Ray-gun and his ''trickle-down'' theory. He started us on a downward spiral and was able to get everyone to drink the koolaid. For over two decades those on the right have blindly worshiped him and followed his twisted teachings. Our nation cannot survive by giving corporations control of our destiny. De-regulation, corporate tax incentives and corporate welfare are the stuff economic ruin is made of. What we are dealing with now is the end result of the actions of those misguided, ''trickle-down'' lemmings. Our only hope is the leadership of an educated and savvy president who will put the government back in the hands ''of the people''. I personally believe the voters have given us that leader... time will tell. God''s speed, President Obama.

- "Bank officials told Attkisson that taxpayers will have to trust that the money will be used wisely."
Trust them? Trust THEM? Are you serious?
Deregulation and our "trusting" them is what got us here.

- For those who are curious, take a look at Phil Gramm of Texas. A now retired senator who passed in a lame duck session in 1999 the Commodities Modernization Act.
Written by lobbyist friends of his, he also took down the firewall between accounting firms and clients, for example Enron and Arthur Anderson.
Clinton was in office under impeachment and it was slipped in at the last moment. No one read it since it was over 266 pages.
Gramm also co sponsored a bill that took down the barriers between, insurance companies, security firms, Banks, and any other financial institution so they could all play footsy.
Just google him and find out the truth. All roads lead to Texas.
BTW he was the guy who called us all whiners, he was on McCains staff at some point. - Reply to this comment
