CBS Evening News: Campaign Commercials Distorting Opponents' Records Becoming Commonplace In State, National Races
- Media protects their "cash cow Obama" by calling the TRUTH about him a negative ad or a smear. BO spends millions on ads with them so they''''ll cover whatever BO wants. BO outspends McCain 10 to 1. BO will have spent "ONE BILLION DOLLARS,i.e.,$1,000,000,000.00 to buy the USA Presidency, more than any candidate for Pres. in our total history...and alot of the mega bucks/petro dollars are from Saudi, Iran, Syria, Middle East, China, et al..it''''s a scandal coming.
NoObama, the USA Presidency is not for sale to the highest cash bidder.

- There is not one, not one mind you, medical laboratory test for research that can not be completed with cord blood and cord tissue for the purposes of human regeneration. Try some other way to justify killing your children. This one doesn''''t work. Kill you children for your own reasons. Medical research us not responsible nor will be held responsible for what you do with your unborn children.

First of all- THIS IS NOT TRUE. Look it up and don''t take this moron''s word for it. Secondly, in-vitro fertilization results in the discarding of hundreds of thousands of embryos each year. Wouldn''t it better not to WASTE such a resource? Or are you against in-vitro fertilization, too? Stop lying. - Reply to this comment
- John McCain spent more time in a POW camp than Obama spent in the Senate.
Try something else, I%u2019m ashamed of you and Obama for trying to hang our troops out to dry in Iraq last year.

McCain has voted ONCE in the Senate since April 6th. Country First, my a*ss. He also says he knows how and where to "get" Bin-Laden with the implication that he won''t TELL anyone how to do that unless he is elected. Right.
McCain in 1928!
Have a nice Nov. 4th. - Reply to this comment

Crazy thing is my tax return would look very similar. Actually my tax return would show $0. you what to know why? Because when I give, it isn''t for the tax break, it''s because it''s the right thing to do. I stop into the salvation army and give them 2-3 hundred dollar bills and won''t give my name. I did the same for hurricane katrina and Ike. The other day a store was taking donations for meals for older people, i gave them some money too. They were so surprised because they wanted to fill out a "dinner plate" picture to hang on the wall with my name on it and I told them no.
There''s some of us that give because they get rewarded for it, and others that give because it''s the right thing to do. - Reply to this comment
- When all else fails, the Republicans inevitably resort to fear and smear. Watching a typical Republican rally is like witnessing a KKK cross burning. And, according to a report filed by David Niewert on the Huffington Post, a group of Palin supporters allowed themselves to be interviewed by a press crew and they aired their hatred against African-Americans, Muslims, and Arabs. The press crew happened to be from Al Jazeera, and Palin''s supporters gave Al Jazeera an indeliable impression of America - at least an America led by John McCain.
The hate and smear campaign launched by McCain and Palin is a disgrace to America. It is an obscene assault on everything sacred that this country stands for - religious freedom and racial and religious tolerance.
By pandering to fear, hatred, and ignorance, just to get elected, Palin and McCain have proven they are unfit to lead this country. The hatred that McCain and Palin peddle has no place in american. I urge all patriotic Americans - everyone who loves this country - to vote for Obama and his Democratic allies.
Let''s banish hatred once and for all.

- Senator McCain cannot get the respect of his own party as far as his position of using Rev Wright as a campaign issue. He can not even get his running mate to support and respect his decision. With this kind of a record how will Senator McCain ever lead the nation as whole or worse what does that say to foreign countries as to Senator McCain''s ability to lead?

Managed to take Clinton''''s surplus,
And 8 years later they replaced it with:
Bigger Gov''''t --
Though they promised Smaller Govt-
Greater Debt-
Though they promised fiscal responsibility-
The largest Trade Deficit in history-
Outsourcing millions of US jobs
Then they Pulled a Commie Chavez move
Nationalizing Fannie and Freddie
The Socialization of our Financial Institutions-
With Billions in tax payer paid bailouts-
Institutional Welfare for Wall Street Incompetents-
War in Iraq and Afghanistan
Costing us 10 Billion + a month
Ridicule throughout the world--
But they did give Tax breaks and incentives to:
The upper 3% -
To Big Oil,
And the GOP Defense Conglomerates--
The Choice is Astonishingly Clear---

- Doctor-cool 1 You are wrong Joe the plumber said he would benefit more under the Obama''s plan. With the respect to Bill Ayers, Why did McCain hug one of the North Vietnamese that held him captive. The NVA hated Americans and they killed of 52000 Americans of all political parties, 52000 American lives. Why did McCain hug this terrible man, he was not a terrorist, he was a communist. DrCoool, answer this for me before you pass judgement on another American. Why are McCain''s POW records sealed? Wouldn''t an American Hero want Americans to know the ordeal he went through at the hands of the NVA? Doctor, maybe the reason is because a violation of Article 5 of the Military Code of Conduct is in those records? You and I won''t know until those records are opened. It may be too late then. Don''t say because he is humble, if he was humble he wouldn''t use the POW time as a platform to run on. Why are the POW records sealed? www.vietnamveteransagainstjohnmccain.com go there doctor-cool 1 and read for yourself, I am not taking anything away from John''s service, it''s because of you passing judgement on another American..go read than come back. What is in those records is between John and God.

- looks like the negative mccain ads have really worked...to help Obama. Pretty soon here, all this hating and fear can END....
It is amazing to watch so many people create their OWN hysteria about Obama...and then you drown in it. Mass hysterical ranting by the fearful remnants of the GOP.
Get a grip on yourselves...after all, the only ones who are spinning in the wild hysteria over MONEY MONEY MONEY are you folks....what''s left of you. Most people now support Obama...and we are not wrong. You are. and your HYSTERIA is sad to see.

- Last comment: America November 4th is upon us and it''s our right as Americans to choose a president. Please don''t do it because of Fear or Hatred, do it because it feels good in your heart. Do it because of your heart, not because you are influenced by the negative ads that want you to fear and hare another American. Do it for the futue of this great country of our. If you want to vote your candidate in because you are affraid or your are hateful of another human being, don''t waste your vote on fear and hatred. God Bless American and All Americans.
Remember we liberate Europe from a little man that instilled fear and hatred on the human race. We Americans defeated that tyrant. Vote your heart, not your fears or not your hatred. - Reply to this comment
- Uhhmmmm. Mortgage Rates in Jan-1981 were 14.90% % and peaked to 18.45% in October because of Jimmy Carters handling of the economy. You see Reagan inherited this from Carter.
Also love the covering for Obamas failure as President before he takes office, I was predicting this.

Posted by CPelzar at 11:00 AM : Nov 02, 2008
You posted several lies which I corrected and now you are whining about "libs"?
I despised Jimmy Carter but I''''m not going to sit here while you post lies about him and his presidency.
Everything you posted was a lie.
Which makes you a typical McCain supporter. So does he.
Bush & the GOP''''s failed policies will affect the next two presidents (at least), whomever they are. Bush & the GOP DOUBLED the national debt in 8 short years ($5 trillion to $10 trillion).
No one is going to get a tax cut regardless what we are promised. It will take years to overcome the disastrous Bush presidency.
But, we have to get started by getting rid of the disease (the GOP).
I see no future for the GOP''''s failed policies.
"Trickle down economics" is officially dead.
