There is NO BETTER CHOICE than leaving your dead babie laying in a bucket while you go about the rest of your life.

GREAT "CHOICE"!

When are women going to stand up and demand that this issue is something they have to decide individually. Between the Baptist and the Catholics are nation is becoming maore and more like IRAN, SAUDI, IRAQ etc, etc.

Keep your moralistic faith based control in the home and in your church! No one has the right to tell a woman what she can or can not do regading abortion .... especially redneck, right wing men who just want women barefoot, pregnant and in the kitchen!

Our religious neocon nuts are becomeing more and more like the radical MUSLIMS everyday ... they just want to control everything and everyone and make all decisions for you based upon their biased view of their faith!

KEEP YOUR RELIGION IN YOUR CHURCH AND OUT OF OTHER PEOPLES BUSINESS! IF YOU DONT AGREE WITH ABORTIONS DONT HAVE ONE.

Oh, and let me "redefine" low-income women to make it a little more relevant.

I was laid off from my job in construction, but usually make very good money. I have three degrees, including an MBA. I wouldn''t be what you usually consider "low-income."

However, because I''m laid off, I don''t have healthcare. So I can rely on programs such as those provided by Planned Parenthood for my women''s healthcare needs.

This issue may affect your friends, coworkers, mother, sister, aunts, grandmother. They may not be someone you typically consider as "low-income," but at least there are services available to those WHEN they need them most.

If McCain and others are allowed to kill these services, it may affects people you care about.

Thanks for listening...I''m heading off to breakfast.

If you are by chance undecided at this point.

Please look into McCain''s record with women''s issues and voting for basic healthcare for "the little people."

And I''m not talking about Medicaid...I''m talking about access to basic healthcare by anyone who really can''t afford it these days, especially women.

It''s atrocious.

If anybody cares...I was a McCain supporter, until he picked Palin and I decided to check his record.

McCain has voted AGAINST funding for medically-accurate and scientifically-based s*ex education for teens.

He voted AGAINST funding for legislation that would give access to low-income women for breast cancer and cervical cancer screenings.

He voted for legislation that would not require insurance companies to cover women''s prescription contraception.

He supports abstinence-only education...only.

He voted to de-fund Planned Parenthood.

He voted to protect fanatics who bombed abortion clinics and decriminalize their acts...they were considered domestic "terrorists."

He voted to allow these criminals to file bankruptcy to avoid punishment.

He voted to cut funding for any agency providing healthcare in other countries if they didn''t teach anything but abstinence-only programs. If they provided condoms, they were threatened with losing their funding (i.e. Africa)

He didn''t even know whether or not condoms could protect someone from the spread of HIV.

I was unaware of all of this. He is out of touch and dangerous when it comes to these important health issues.

As I''''ve said, the anti-choice folks don''''t want to solve the abortion issue, they just want to tell other people what they can and cannot do.

Why do people support baby killing?
Why do mothers have the right to kill the unborn?

Posted by LOOK- at 10:02 AM : Nov 01, 2008

Because many of us are intelligent enough to know that an embryo is NOT a baby. It is a quivering mass of cells that cannot survive on its own.

Abortion is unfortunate and ugly. However, when you don''t give kids the information they need to make informed decisions, how can you expect them to not become pregnant?

It would be like driving a car for the first time with no one telling you how to avoid an accident. It would be like playing with guns, but nobody telling you that if you point the "business" end at your buddy you could kill him. It''s like putting a skull and crossbones on that bottle of poison in the cabinet.

They are warnings in every area of your life to keep you safe.

Cutting off funding for s*ex education and not giving teens information would be like removing the warning label...

....Go ahead and vote for the clueless, senile cretin. McCain doesn''t even know how many houses that he owns. McCain is a rubber stamp. He voted with Bu$h 92% of the time, and we all see how that worked out for the middle class. But you go right ahead and vote for this idiot based on one issue that most sane people couldn''t give a rat''s a s s about.. I thought that ignorant repugs wanted less intrusion in people''s lives?
You with think that McCain would be a man of priciple for all that he has been through. Instead, he sucks up to every nutcase group that has bloodshed, and the Bible on their one track minds......

While we may (or may not) be on opposite sides of the abortion issue, you have taken the proper approach on the issue. If we reduce the number of unwanted pregnancies we will reduce the number of abortions. I fully support that approach.

You will find that almost all pro-choice supporters take this view.

However, many evangelicals and others don''t believe in education and minimizing pregnancies through education, and that''s very frustrating to us. They cut funding, they preach abstinence-only education. Most of us support abstinence-only education, but ONLY if it''s taught with the necessary medical and scientific information to give kids the education they need to make smart choices.

If we all stick our heads in the sand, then the people that suffer are our kids.

I''m sure that Europe has a much lower teen pregnancy rate because they are open and actually talk about s*ex. Americans are very puritanical about s*ex. I''m not talking about telling kids to go out and sleep around, but arming them with information about diseases and how to prevent pregnancy will make this whole discussion obsolete.

A new-born baby can''''t live on it''''s own. It still needs someone to care for it, otherwise it will die. So, by that logic, we should be able to kill kids up to, say, 3 or 4 years old?

Posted by renojmc at 09:53 AM : Nov 01, 2008

No, a newborn baby can depend on OTHERS to help it live, and at that point it can be given to another person to care for.

While it is in a woman''s body and depending on nutrients and the attachment to that body, the woman has every right to make choices about whether or not to continue the pregnancy.

If a miscarriage occurs at week 6, and the fetus cannot survive, is that a sin, too??

I''m amazed how all pro-abortion arguments ignore the 1000 pound Gorilla in the middle of the room. Pregnancy is not a disease, you don''t catch it. YOU GET PREGNANT! With all the birth control alternatives available there is NO, NO, NO excuse for an unwanted pregnancy. Murder and I mean Murder of the most helpless, is not a civilized solution to lazyness. As for what do "I" propose to do with all those unwanted children, to that I say "Unh"? That''s my responsibility(refer to sentence 4)? My responsibility is my reproductive life and family.

Jesus blasted hypocrites much more often that abortionists. As a matter of fact he never said a word against abortions. If I were one of these people railing against abortions but support all the killing in the middle east, I would start worrying about my eternal soul.

Im Barack Hussein Obama, and I will talk, if elected, with a lot of fanatical terrorists and I approved this message.

Posted by LOOK- at 09:51 AM : Nov 01, 2008
--------------------

You are so uneducated it''s not even funny.

And what''s really sad about this whole argument is that almost all people who support a woman''s right to choice are also AGAINST partial-birth and late-term abortions.

However, because there are fanatics like the woman in this article, "For Unruh, the ultimate goal is to reverse the Supreme Court decision legalizing abortion."

So most pro-choice supporters would be willing to compromise and give up late-term and partial-birth abortions, but in doing so they''re opening the door to people like this who want to ban ALL abortion, and those who even think that CONTRACEPTION is ALSO abortion. These fanatics jeopardize choice for all women, and they are dangerous.

A woman has a right to control her own body. And Obama supports that right in an objective way. McCain has voted against EVERY woman''s rights issue ever to pass his desk.

I voted for Obama yesterday...and I support this message.

Better prepare yourself for Tuesday. McCain''s going DOWN.

Until a fetus can live on its own, it''''s not murder.

That makes it technically a PARASITE on the mother until it can live on its own.
