CBS Evening News: Sin City Bigs Bundle Cash For Republican, Fearing Regulations Under Obama
- Just for the record, I would take the Mafia who helped the Army Intelligence keep a watch out on the docks during World War II against Nazi spies over Barry''s Terrorist comrades any day.

- Hmmmm?? Interesting, since my neighbor over here spent most of his time working with the Montanyards to try and kill as many of your commie brothers as they could.
I guess they missed you??

Interesting.
And what about you? How have you served our country? - Reply to this comment
- thanks for pointing this out CBS !!
yes, nice to know that once again the repugnant inconsiderate robber baron McCLOWN cares only about the wealthy and its corporations!!
I am sure the casino execs will tell you that they need tax breaks for their enourmous "vigs" that they have gouged out of joe six pack. see, they and mcsame will tell you it is going to trickle down to everyone. but in reality, like warren buffett stated once, all these wealthy robber barons do is, invest the money and it does nothing to help spurn the economy on. Its all a big scam by the wealthy robber barons like mcsame and the bush oil admn. to hoard the nations wealth.
this explains why the nationalist right wing religous reich picks brainless nutcases as their leaders.......basically they dont want someone with a conscience or that cares, because then they would prevent the robber barons from achieving their intended goal of hoarding the nations wealth.
phalin and mcsame are the two perfect bonebrains for the robber baron agenda. - Reply to this comment

You are a sad little man, Jack.
Tell me, what would you do without the internet?
Torture kittens? Terrorize the neighborhood children? Push little old ladies down into the snow?
I have a difficult time visualizing you as being a caring and valued member of any neighborhood... - Reply to this comment

The GOP''''s claims that lowering billionaires'''' taxes and eliminating all gov''''t regulations is nonsense for any nation that intends to prosper as a nation.
Name any nation with "low taxes" and no gov''''t regulation that has prospered as a nation.
Just one will do.

Exactly which end of the economic spectrum do you want to look at? The US currently has one of the highest Corporate tax Structures and people wonder why jobs are leaving the US? Can you name the regulations that were removed and what President signed them into law? I will give you a hint, Nancy Pelosi voted i favor of it in 1999, long before George took office. - Reply to this comment
- hey tuckerndfw,do you have a picture of an honest Congressman or Senator, I don''t think such an animal exists, they are ALL two faced liars, why do you think we have the problem we face..because of a bunch of lies told to the people of this country,by the people who we vote to office, that are sworn to represent and protect the constitution, they have all miserably failed to represent the people or protect our economy time for them to go.Just remember there are not just two parties as they would have you to think, there are other options.

- The depression was caused by the deregulation of banking, and banks irresponsibly lending money to people who didn%u2019t have it so they could invest in the stock market. The Laizze faire policies of Harding, Coolidge, and Hoover created a six year boom and then a huge crash. The 20s was also the last time the Republicans controlled Congress, the presidency, and the courts...hmmm...Then FDR saved the country...history seems to be repeating itself

Cute names...and typical chickenhawk armchair warrior behavior.
Actually, I served all of my tours less one I spent inside of a mountain in southeast asia and the far east.

- Simply study what took place during the great depression. For this is where the Demoturds plan to take us again.

lollll...you guys are consistent.
I know some rather wealthy and rather old gentlemen who also blame the Great Depression on the Democrats.
When I first heard that claim made is when I first began developing my hypothesis that excessive greed eventually causes neuron damage. - Reply to this comment
- The US enjoyed the greatest prosperity in world history under FDR''''s New Deal (socialist) programs when the marginal tax rate was over 90%.
GOP policies resulted in the collapse of the world economy just like they did the last time they had control over the White House & Congress (Hoover''''s presidency).
The only reason the US has not totally collapsed is due to those same New Deal programs the GOP is trying to eliminate.
The GOP is unfit to govern.
NO nation in history with "low taxes" has ever prospered.
NONE.

- Ronald Reagan would have voted for Barack Obama. His tax plan wants to roll back the irresponsible tax cuts of George W. Bush, tax cuts McCain voted AGAINST!!! Furthermore, Obama is for more efficient government, middle class tax cuts, and making government work better for the people. Obama will not divide this country but unite it under a new mandate to govern left center, the way most people feel. The division in this country has come from the evangelical nut jobs who tried to impeach Clinton for personal reasons, and now try to use government to regulate morality! Obama is the only candidate with a direction that will bring this country together, for those of you too ignorant to see that you are the same people who didn%u2019t like FDR or Reagan they turned into quite a good president didn%u2019t they. Lets us stop the bickering unite for the common good, and be proud to be American again. Obama brings us back to the strong leadership that Reagan, JFK, and FDR provided. As a historian I have been waiting for this for a long time. Those against Obama, give him a chance, in four years you will love the guy and the direction of our country.

- To anyone that has a job, no matter how much you make if this trend continues, you will continue to pay more and more. Barney Frank last week stated that there will have to be tax hikes to cover the deficit, yet Barry keeps saying he will cut taxes on 95% of americans by $1,000.00.
Guarantee that will change if he is elected. It makes no sense. The only thing that will get us on the track to recovery is a complete across the boards spending freeze.

Can anyone even try to pictured what the America most of us were raised in will look like after just four years of nationalized healthcare, Increases on capital investments during a recession, Increased government spending.....
Sure you can....Simply study what took place during the great depression. For this is where the Demoturds plan to take us again.

Actually the worst economy the US ever had was in the late 30''s after the new deal. The massive government spending, the highest taxes on income and the worst economy on record.
The truth is the new deal was a massive failure and it was not until after world war II into the 50''s that the economy started to recover and thrive. Barry''s plan follows this to a tee. - Reply to this comment
- Sure wish November 4th would hurry up and get here, so I can relegate those who post the vile and false comments about Obama to the ash heap of history''s failed Gestapo wanna-bes.

- Why insult a democrat, that%u2019s the problem with politics in this country. Republicans were not always ignorant, uneducated, and selfish. Today many republicans still aren%u2019t. The problem is that the loudest republicans who have taken over the party are these incoherent people. These are the same people who loved Bush, and love Palin and take pride in their ignorance. However, this is not all republicans; in fact it%u2019s not even most republicans. The GOP started by Lincoln used to be a great party a moderate party, a party that worked with Democrats to make this country better, hopefully after Obama''s victory the party leaders will shut these buffoons up and retake their party. Congrats to Republicans backing Barak Obama including Ms. Eisenhower, Mr. Buckley, Mr. Powell, Mr. McClellan, Ms. Parker, and many others.

Hi, I''m Mr. Spellcheck, and you do not "get an A".
Grammar should not be capitalized, Spellcheck is one word, there should be a comma after "out there", "NO BODY" is one word, and the last eight words should not be capitalized. You fail miserably! You are hereby forbidden to post on this board, ever again.

- If Barry wins, he will further divide this country along the class warfare he has initiated. The % of people that do not pay taxes at all has increased under Bush''s tax cuts a little know fact and never reported by the so called news organizations like CBS. Barry''s plan will increase the number of people that do not pay any taxes to almost 48% of the population.
To anyone that has a job, no mater how much you make if this trend continues, you will continue to pay more and more. Barney Frank last week stated that there will have to be tax hikes to cover the deficit, yet Barry keeps saying he will cut taxes on 95% of americans by $1,000.00.

- sad that we must rely on people of such moral character as members of either party, all liars, and apparently very big time thieves, they create a economy crisis and then come up with a huge solution , throw money at the problem with no plan of action, sound familiar? The same tactic has been used in Iraq since the beginning of the war, to no avail, just wasting money , while those who supply the war are making billions in profit.By the way those who "supply" the war, are current and former leaders of this country who think its all right to make a profit off of dead American soldiers, and its all right to do it too because they have the blessings of Congress to do it.One bunch of these honorable groups is the Carlyle group, If you don''t think politicians are corrupt , Google this group and see who is making billions in profits from the war in Iraq, the LIE war.i will not vote for either candidate because they are not trustworthy and are members of a corrupt congress ...on both sides of the isle.

- As for McCain - he too was once viewed as hostile to gambling after he tried to ban sports betting. He failed after the gaming industry flooded Congress with campaign donations

when has Mccain ever been hostile to gambling? Mccain IS a gambler, and has been instrumental in creating the $25 billion a year indian gaming industry. - Reply to this comment
