Mcliar:
I had a slightly different take on Obama''s "not stellar" comment. I know what pitch-ins are like at my workplace, and you often get chips and dip, packaged cookies, etc. Since they were on the road, that type of fare was probably the best they could do. I think his point was that the reason this was the best birthday for his daughter wasn''t because it was the most elaborate, with the best food, but perhaps because it was an unscripted gesture of kindness/affection. Malia suddenly had the attention of people who she has come to know, but who are usually focused on her dad. I think Malia''s response was equally gracious. That speaks well of her parents.

Having said that, I think the question makes Couric look like an unprofessional lightweight.

Soon Obama will be crying FOUL!
BERG v. OBAMA et al
Plaintiff Philip J. Berg alleged that Defendant Barack Obama is not eligible for the Office of the President because Obama lost his U.S. citizenship when his mother married an Indonesian citizen and naturalized in Indonesia. Plaintiff further alleged that Obama followed her naturalization and failed to take an oath of allegiance when he turned 18 years old to regain his U.S. citizenship status.

Our Constitution is at risk. Where is the MEDIA???Obama has been asked by the courts to prove his eligibility to be President by providing proof of citizenship. Mr. Berg is a lawyer and a Democrat. As of yesterday neither Obama nor the DNC has provided evidence and over the past month has filed motion after motion to dismiss this lawsuit filed in Philadelphia PA. Why not just produce the proof and end the mystery? Follow the link and read the actual court filed documentshttp://docs.justia.com/cases/fe
deral/district-courts/pennsylvania/paedc
e/2:2008cv04083/281573/27/ This is latest document posted out of 27 filed. Here is a link to all of them.http://dockets.justia.com/docket/co
urt-paedce/case_no-2:2008cv04083/case_id
-281573/ If Obama is elected and it is later discovered that he is not a citizen then the Constitution is useless.

On the topic of crying. I cry when I think that a man that has anger issues, no judgement, name calling and a woman that has a voice. That makes me want to walk in traffic. In the White House. That is something to cry about, MCcain/Palin.

Obama cried when he heard Biden say the following:

"And here''s the point I want to make. Mark my words. Mark my words. It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy. The world is looking. We''re about to elect a brilliant 47-year old senator president of the United States of America. Remember I said it standing here if you don''t remember anything else I said. Watch, we''re gonna have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy. And he''s gonna have to make some really tough - I don''t know what the decision''s gonna be, but I promise you it will occur. As a student of history and having served with seven presidents, I guarantee you it''s gonna happen. I can give you at least four or five scenarios from where it might originate. And he''s gonna need help.
For the whole speech http://www.weeklystandard.com/weblogs/TWSFP/2008/10/obama_responds_to_bidens_crisi.asp

McCain wants to spread the wealth to the rich. The oil companies the CEOs that are earning millions and millions more than they need to be happy.

Is this the america you want?

McCain would be bad on security because he is impetuous and too ideological. He is erratic in a crisis. Too old now Im afraid. And his running mate is insane she doesnt even know what the job of a VP is and she isnt uncorrupted.

These guys are desperate: they almost called Obama a terrorist, called him a socialist and next week will probably call him a UFO.

It doesnt stick. They have run out of ideas, have weak character, have underestimated the american people.

Time for a change.

Obama, who are you really???????Soccialist

Why do you want us to pay taxs, so someone else can drink beer, eat fast food, and watch TV, while i and others work for a better life. Your 55% cap wage tax is unfair, reditribution of the wealth is unfair, Obama will tax us, and where he deems other people are being unfairly treatedm, will give our hard earned money to a person who works 17 hours a week because he rather drink beer, ect than work for a better life, what better life is to get money from others, instead of working for it. Obama other reditribtion of the wealth is to give Afircan countries 20 % of our tax dollars too.

If Obama is a ''socialist'', why does the billionaire, Warren Buffett--one of the most successful capitalists EVER--support him?

As do most economists. There is no way in hades that Warren Buffet would EVER support a ''socialist!''

Do you even have a CLUE who Warren Buffet is? (My guess is that you don''t--but you should.)

Check it out and decide for yourself:

searched birth records in Hawaii for barrack Hussein Obama and found no record for him under any combination of his name. I would like to know what country he was born in, it was not the US. I did find tons of other birth records for other people from the same time he was supposed to have been born there, but no obama. Obama, why will you not provide the birth certificate, I can produce mine in about 30 seconds
