But while we as a nation spend almost $10 billion annually to fight AIDS abroad, we spend less than 10 percent of that here at home."

We shouldn''t be spending ANY money on this beyond education! this is a 99.999999% preventable disease if people EITHER don''t have s3x with other PEOPLE or use a rubber if you do.

Get a dog!

This money should be used for mostly NON-preventable diseases that affect millions of all ages- cancer, heart disease, kidney failure, Lou Gherrig''s disease, MS

Gupta said

1. Proving that if he has to ask the question,
he''s not much of a doctor.

Also:
2. Note to the reetards, Gupta didn''t "say" it
rather he asked a question.

That this disease is still spreading is a testament to irresponsibility. People having indiscriminate *** with multiple partners know about AIDS. It is no secret. Yet they do not get tested or inform their partners if they are infected or use condoms. And drug users share needles.

I can see what Bush is trying to achieve in Africa. He is attempting to avoid self-genocide by Africans through massive education efforts and medical treatment. But here in the U.S., where we have television and *** education, is there truly a group of our population who are uninformed about AIDS?

"Eighty percent of the HIV cases in this city - your city - are in blacks," Gupta said.
***********

If a white guy said that, he''d be called a racist.

Sorry to hear about this "apathy" concept. It seems to be the same way regardless of where one goes.

Try to bring back RELATIONSHIPS, respect for one''s self, and respect for others instead of it being an amoral bodily function and maybe, just maybe, AIDS cases might drop.
