Do you have a legal choice to anything other than to try to get the change stopped before it is enacted or comply and / or repealed after it is enacted?

Exactly my point every one of us are sitting here saying yeah yeah tax the rich so I don''''t ahve to pay. But tehn everyone of us wan the benifates that come with those taxes. It always amazes me no one want s to pay taxes but everyone wants the perks that comes with paying.

I know you your going to throw out there the eample well someone making 60,000 a years pays 50% of his taxes and the person making 10,000,000 only pays 15% of their income. Well that is ********* if someones is makeing 60,000 a year and 50% of in taxes they need to hire an account because I have family of 4 and we make about 90,000 a year and only pay about 12% in total taxes that includes state and federal.

I still prefer the graduated progressive tax code with fewer specific exemptions based on necessities. That system would vastly limit the need for tax professionals and provide a fair tax rate based on earning -- unfortunately that does assist those at the bottom and penalize those at the top somewhat -- keeping that even across the spectrum of salaries is the trick.

Do a flat tax rate across the board. make it 10%. No matter what you make you MUST pay 10% of your income to taxes. It''''s Simple and Fair

That attitude says the cost of insuring a vehicle more likely to be stolen is the same as one less likely to be stolen -- I don''t want to subsidize the insurance of someone''s Ferrari when I drive an old subcompact.

before or after separating out those ripped off by companies like Countrywide that settled with several states days ago for improper conduct in the lending process to those owners and others caught in the secondary trap of the bubble companies like Countrywide helped to create.

Very few peopel are truly looking for a fair tax plan they are looking for someone else to pay more so they can pay less. Most people don''''t want to be patriotic as biden says.

by law which is subject to change like any other law. I fail to see an criminal implications based on a duly enacted change.

So if they duely enact change that will take thousands of dollars out of you pocket with no benifate to you are going to feel the same way?

He''''''''s looking to raise the taxes on the bums who caused the economic meltdown - making them pay for the mess they caused is an excellent idea

Income taxes are paid on net -- after expenses not gross. Sales Taxes are paid on receipts.

AND? Any way you see it, he is raising taxes ON THE WRONG PEOPLE!

Posted by GetRealTex at 02:35 PM

He is not raising taxes on the "example" you cited. Due to the income taxing of net profit and not gross receipts.

Every single solitary item listed here has been debunked months ago. Why this poster is throwing out dated lies like these now only shows the desperation of the McCain camp. Palin started with Hannity and Limbaugh talking points, the Muslim innuendo has re-surfaced, and old, oft repeated lies are coming back. Obama has won this election, best get used to it!

End result. More jobs shipped overseas. Lower income for pension from 401K and mutual funds for the elderly. Lower unemployment. Higher inflation. Increased welfare. More lazy lameasses like cause_way collecting money from the government. We can''t aford Oblama''s plans.
