Hey senior citizens of the United States...if you can''''t afford to retire, as long as you can crawl you can still do yard work and the laundry for the wealthy republicans

Reminds me of how David Koresh brainwashed his flock.

He was f--king their wives and daughters and they still called him God!

That''s the conservatives for you.

They''ve been scre*wed By Bush and Cheney, and they''re still going to vote republican in Nov!

LOL

Hey senior citizens of the United States...if you can''t afford to retire, as long as you can crawl you can still do yard work and the laundry for the wealthy republicans who made it big because of big-business policies enacted by the likes of bush and McCain. The rich will get a big tax break for hiring you and you can pay taxes on your income to pay the debt that they racked up in the last 8 years while shifting the nations wealth from the middle class to the filthy rich.

Dear America,

Don''t be afraid of all this b u l l s h i t. There are to many German, Polish, Irish, Scottish, and Italian Boys in America for us to be afraid. These greedmongers who are playing with our money will pay. Our Heavenly Lord knows the hairs on their heads. Lucifer cannot win. He is jealous that the Father made us in His image and placed us above the angels. He is just trying to slight the Father by tempting us into behavior that is unpleasing to the Father. Worry not though, Jesus is our General, He has already Conquered Lucifer and is squashing him with a humble women named Mary. Pray the Rosary.

8 years of Bushit is more than enough!
4 more years of Bushit - over my d__d body!
One page out of Mr. Karl Christian Rove''s playbook is "When the game is not in your favor, put a doubt in the voters'' mind, make them think both sides are evil - thus the voter either won''t vote or vote the wrong side."
My mind is clear 8 years ago and coming November, it will be EVEN clearer - now you can take that to the bank!
No to GWB/McCain coming November!

The elderly in this country should understand that the problems with our economy and the shrinking of their retirement savings are the direct result of the failed republican policies and greed. Republicans have often tried, and will try again, to link retirements to the stock market...allowing their big-business campaign contributors and friends to use retirees money without guaranteeing any security. Senior citizens need to take a close look at the devious plans being laid by the republican party regarding Social Security - a vote for a republican equals a vote for a smaller retirement fund for most Americans.

melchg: The golden years they''re talking about is the ability for seniors to retire. They''ve already raised from 65 to 67 and are still trying to raise it even more. Say you''ve accumulated some savings and want to retire early. Many people have found that they cannot afford or are unable to buy individual health insurance, and cannot qualify to Medicare either. So back to work they go.

IF YOU HAVEN''T WATCHED THE SPECIAL THAT FOX NEWS JUST PUT OUT ON THE ECONOMY CRISIS, I SUGGEST YOU DO.
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, HOW MANY TIMES PEOPLE KEPT ASKING CONGRESS TO GET A HOLD OF FANNIE MAE AND FREDDIE AND THE DEMOCRATS WOULD NOT LISTEN.
IT EVEN FOUND DOCUMENTS SHOWING THE OBAMA EARNING THE SECOND MOST PROFIT OUT OF ALL THE SENATORS WHO WERE TIED TO FANNIE MAE.
UNBELIEVABLE. IT SHOWS ALL THE CPAN VIDEO WITH BARNEY FRANK, CHUCK SCHUMER, EVEN THE BLACK CAUCUS WITH OBAMA.
I DON''T CARE IF YOU ARE A DEMOCRAT OR REPUBLICAN OR WHATEVER, WE ARE AMERICANS AND EVERYONE SHOULD LOOK AT THIS SPECIAL AND SEE WHO GOT US IN THIS MESS

Both my spouse and I each have a Credit Card.
Everytime our CC''s statements come, we pay it in full.
Our 401Ks are invested in the fixed category.
Life is good.
GWB/McCain is out!

There ain''t going to be any golden years. They''ll keep raising the retirement age anyway. And even if you want, forget about early retirement. You won''t be able to afford the health insurance.

I can''t see why any senior citizen would vote for John McCain. Mccain has tried, and will try again, to link their retirement benefit to the stock market - we can all see what kind of a situation that would have caused. The republican party is no friend of the elderly.

Hard times? Why say "hard times"? It''s Republican times. The neocons have destroyed our economy and our financial futures in just eight short years.

Time for a change.

One thing that is never mentioned is the fact that low mortgage rates are bad for millions of Americans who are retired and those saving toward retirement. Bank interest rates are low because banks have been giving out mortgage loans with low interest rates for a number of years. Many banks pay as little as 1/2% on savings accounts. There was a time when savings account interest was in the 3 to 4% range. The low interest on savings accounts is especially hard on retired persons living on fixed incomes.
