Sarah Palin comes off just like one of those surrogates we see each side trot out. She just droned on in the debate about talking points regardless of the question with little real engagement. I''m a life-long Republican, John McCain is my Senator, I voted for him the past two decades, and I''m embarrassed and disappointed. This is as bad as I''ve seen it in my adult life, economically, politically and foreign policy-wise and John McCain makes this VP pick?! Sarah Palin proves every time she opens her mouth she''s not right for this time. John McCain''s choice for VP, his erratic campaign and his vague stance on bringing closure in Iraq proves he''s not right for this time.

Dear CarlyLaine wherever you are, I would love to go napnap but only if you were here with me to discuss your mental condition. You are obviously dilusional if you think this moose queen has any business running for the 2nd highest office in the land.

Who was the last unqualified governor we had run for a top office? GWB. And who was the last vice president we had who wouldn''t talk to the press? *** Cheney. They are both Sarah Palin rolled into one except that she''s not nearly as qualified to step into the presidency as Cheney was.

She is more of a celebrity than a political candidate. No substance, she was coached good. she''s more in competition with Britney Spears than Biden.

Cheney is a perfect example of why the VP is important. So is Lyndon Johnson. Under no circumstances could I bring myself to vote for President Sarah Palin. So that means I shouldn''t vote for her for VP either. Even if she did seem more coherent last night, she still just rambled around on several questions. It was clear she isn''t ready to face the worst economic meltdown since the 1930''s, two major wars, a nuclear Iran, trouble with Pakistan and Russia, the whole host of hurting Americans who have lost jobs, pension, homes, health care and are paying the highest inflation in 27 years. The issue isn''t John McCain''s age. JFK was a young man when he was killed. To me, one of the great tragedies of this election is that John McCain passed over the many truly qualified women in his party to pick Sarah Palin and game the system.

praiseallah1, I watched the O''Reily segment with Barney Frank and I completly disagree. How can the average American sort through all the muck to find the truth when you have someone screaming like a mad man. I do believe there is coruption in Washington, there is no doubt about that. How can you get to the bottom of anything when one already has their mind made up about what occurred and will not let the watcher hear both sides and make an informed conclusion? That is the fundemental problem with Fox News, they are the farthest thing from "fair and balanced" news reporting. Oh, and before you say they are the only network reporting the "Right" side, watch CNN or MSNBC when they, throughout this whole election time, have panels consisting of equal parties from both sides of the asile. Larry King during the conventions had the opposite parites sitting in the whole week the other was having their respective conventions. O''Reily does not need a show of his own, he needs a padded cell of his own. By the way, I agree with O''Reily on the Barney Frank/Freddie and Frannie issue, but no one will listen to him with his unintellegdable rants. He is a hot head and does nothing but harm the cause.

+ she would be president - right?

Um, yes. And as "judgement to lead" goes. Sarah has it, much more so than your cult leader. Yes, BHO is a cult leader, deal with it.

Tutia...Please explain, I just read your post again and it does not make any sense at all. How does one stick their head out of something? and how did the KKK come into all of this? I have a hard time even writing that letter three times in a row? What do you know about the rich influencing me? I am NOT fearful of black Americans...What are you talking about? If you read my post, I was writing about people making their own way in this world without the help of government and how that used to be a good thing and people felt good about it...that overachievers should be rewarded, you added stuff that does not fit.

Tutia His comment about a dictator was a JOKE, In the interview...He was making a JOKE. I suppose he should have known people like you would make a BIG deal about it.

You did not address a thing in my post you just wrote your own thoughts and assumed things about me that were not in my post at all.

Tutia...What are you talking about??? I never even thought about the whole race thing. I was brought up to never think about a persons skin color, that frankly that proves a person not very smart. Skin color/worth, I have never understood that. Now...what is your point about class?
