Lewis, if you think her questions were tough, you need to get a grip. She softballed her over and over and Sarah couldn''t even answer the simplist of questions, choosing to circle the question with inane and mostly off-topic answers that never answered the question.

Wait til Gwen Ifill gets her and actually asks questions that demand actual answers.

Okay. I don''t know what happened to my previous comment, and I think this site is biased, or it would have gone through. It''s so obvious who Couric is voting for in October. I''m ashamed of her interview of Palin. It wasn''t so much about what she can do for our country, as it was a liberal nit-picking on Palin. Why is she asking Palin, several times, what her stance is on the morning after pill or abortion? Palin made it clear that she is for sanctifying life, that should be enough of an answer. There are no clear cut answers in the questions that she gave, and Couric knows this. I am hoping others are smart enough to see through all of the biasly framed questions. I am proud of Palin for standing up for her beliefs in front of media that makes fun of moral choices. The media should be ashamed. I believe there is a God out there, and that he is very disappointed in our media for how they make fun of people standing up for right choices. Also, with the questions on Evolution and Creationism being taught in public schools: They ARE both theories, where we are sitting (at least). To say that they aren''t is to be very conceited. You better hope that there isn''t a God out there, because if there is you''ve put yourself above him.

I think it''s clear who Couric is planning on voting for in November. It''s so obvious by how much badgering she''s done to Palin in her two interviews with her. Some of these questions don''t have any clear answers, and I think she knows this. I read between the lines, and I see an HONEST person. She''s not going to say something, one way or the other, that she doesn''t COMPLETELY believe in. If she''s going to be that tough on Palin, she should be equaly as tough with Biden and with Obama. This is ridiculous. I am hoping others are smart enough to see what the media is doing. I am proud of Palin, in her honesty. I am ashamed of our liberal media, who seem to make fun of people who have the guts to stand up for what''s moral. Palin''s right, we SHOULD stand up more for the sanctity of life - - whether that''s popular or not, I don''t care. It''s the right thing. As far a evolution and christianity being taught in our schools - - Palin''s absolutely right: they''re both theories.
