VP Candidate Speaks Frankly With Katie Couric About Feminism, Homosexuality, Abortion And The Environment
- ....but when asked by Couric several times which specific newspapers she reads, she did not name any, saying instead that she reads %u201Call of them, any of them that have been in front of me all these years.%u201D
Famed conservative columnist George Will told a gathering of Senate aides on Monday that Gov. Sarah Palin is "obviously" not prepared to assume the presidency if necessary.
Appearing at a Senate Press Secretaries Association reception at the Cornerstone Government Affairs office, Will offered a harsh assessment of John McCain''s running mate.
Palin is "obviously not qualified to be President," he remarked, describing her interview on CBS Evening News with Katie Couric as a "disaster."

I don''''t know about that! Which Batman?
Adam West?
Val Kilmer?
Michael Keaton?
Heath Ledger?
Batman as VP is better than any choice we have now.

- No body is making any of these teenage daughters a sperm recepticle they make condems, they make oral and vaginal contriseptives. And beleive it or not they make the word NO. We do not need abortion as a form of birth control. As for rape or insest yes I for one believe it is ok allow abortion. But just because some girl is iresponsible should not give them the right to use abortion as a backup for birth control.

At first I thought you were just prone to typos. But you actually write and think this way, don''t you? You actually believe you are holding forth intelligent discourse on these boards.....fascinating. It answers a lot about Sarah Palin''s appeal to people like you. It really does. - Reply to this comment
- "Couric you are an idiot. IT WILL NOT TAKE 10 YEARS TO DRILL AND GET OIL TO THE PUMP. "
Uh, actually yes it will. This info comes from the U.S. government. Any NEW off shore drilling will take 10 years to get into the supply chain. The "Drill Here, Drill Now" folks are misleading you. Fine if you want to drill more, but we''re not going to see it at the pump for years. - Reply to this comment
- I don''t know why people are so upset with Palin. I''m still waiting for her to answer a single question before I comment about how she is wildly under qualified.
And I''m sure Katie Couric is tired of asking the same question two and three times. - Reply to this comment
- You answer the question wether or not you agree with Obama and babies should be denied medical treatment if it has a chance of over turning roe v wade. because that is the the bill he voted against three times in the il. senate. I bet those babies dieing in the utility room sure wish Obama would have voted present 163 times instead of 160.
This deserves repeating!!! I know I am spaming but what the He** - Reply to this comment

- There''''s no mention of her upcoming book. Nor does the website for the Commission on Presidential Debates, which is organizing the meetings of the candidates, mention her book.

Did they mention Chris Matthews books when he was a moderator? how about the books by Tim Russert? Why mention someone''s books? They are advertising a debate--to mention a book would only draw criticism for using the debates for her own ends. Face it, there is no real news person that you would want to moderate the Palin train wreck. be grateful the McCain campaign was allowed to change the time each could speak and even how questions would be asked--even those changes makes Palin look like an affirmative action candidate and is a double standard and a slap to intelligent women. Palin should be treated like every other candidate, asked the tough questions (they''ll both get the same questions right?) and given plenty of time to answer in detail. But we all know what happens if Sarah has to answer anything in detail.
"It" is just not there. Heck, Sarah is not all there. - Reply to this comment
