Just watched the Palin interview with Katie. LOL! She knows NOTHING and simply parrots the vague responses that old McBush spouted earlier. This is like watching Brittney Spears being given a chance to comment on how SHE will fix the financial mess...along with perhaps, Don Rickles...

"All they did, really, was confirm what we''re already hearing from people we most admire and respect in America. The most respected people."

I see, Bush, Bernanke, Paulson and Cheney are these the most admired and respected in America? The boys that cried fire in the theater!!!

When Katie interviewed Grandpa and had to suffer through his platitudes and generalities (not to mention poor grammar), it was clear to me she just wanted to throw her hands up and say ***! She''s a professional, so she just smiled and went on with the interview and let him talk himself into absurdity.

Does anyone care that he LIED to David Letterman about leaving for the airport immediately but then, no wait, I have time to do an interview with Katie Couric in the same studios at the same time that Dave''s show is taped? He couldn''t be HONEST that maybe he needed to do this interview in light of the recent economic developments? Dave skewered him on the Late Show (well deserved I think).

Also, do not be distracted...The McCain campaign is using this to "delay" the debate so it can take place on the night that was originally slated for the VP debate...they are AGAIN trying to protect this woman from doing her duty as a VP candidate and speaking with the press about the MCCain/Palin stances on issues. Heck, they will probably say that a VP debate is not even necessary...McCain''s "shoot from the hip" tactics are more than I can stomach...

John McCain admittedly knows very little about the economy, yet he wants to "selflessly" suspend his campaign to help try and "fix this mess". Are you kidding me? I asked my boss for a day off to do the very same thing, and he laughed and laughed..

What probably happened is this: Old John has been up nights PRAYING something would happen to get him out of a debate with a younger, smarter, more AWARE man who can ACTUALLY lead this country out of this HORRIBLE MESS created by HIS PARTY! When the bail out situation became a reality, he thanked his lucky stars for the diversion.

as letterman brought up last night, why does mcsame have to suspend his campaign, why not leave palin in charge, if mcsame can''t trust palin to run a campaign, is she trustworthy to run a country?

i''m kinda glad mcsame has run off to protect the rich people, hopefully we won''t have to hear his lies as much

I see McCain out manuevers Obama again. First his VP pick was better, now he scoops him on economics. LOL. Obama just can''t respond fast enough. Pretty good for a old guy, hey Obama. Todays Topis: Pay Equity and Lies: Obama has been running ads that say McCain doesn%u2019t support pay equity and voted to keep women from earning what their male counterparts make. That%u2019s a big LIE. Here%u2019s the truth: Obam paid his 28 Male Staffers $1.523M and paid his 30 female staffers $1.354M That equates to his women only earning 0.83 cents to the dollar. Biden is even worse. His female staffers only earn 0.73 cents per male staffer. I see double talk runs in the family with the two lawyers. By the way McCain female staffers earned $1.04 for every dollar his male staffers made. If I were a woman I%u2019d be working and voting for McCain. Of course N.O.W. will be ignoring these facts just as the NY Times and Wash Post and Time and NBC and Newsweek do
