I am for the ad. McCain should have hired someone to train him to use computers.
There are AUDIO controlled systems. He doesnt have to type.

The best ad would have linked McCain to the failed FBI boss who wouldnt learn computers because typing is for women.

These Democrats live in an alternate make-believe world, don''''t they?

No they live in trees, to stop defores deforestation along with the other tree hugging hippies who don''t bathe.

chitown639,

Not to mention the "growth" is based on increasing debt and savings going below zero (not since The Great Depression). I''''m not sure how long that type of "growth" can continue.

Not to mention that the GOVERNMENT(dems and repubs) keep forgiving foreign debt.....to keep good ties and relations......that helps us.

Chitown - I never said, nor implied that any recession lasted 8 years. What I was speaking to was the recession of 2000-2001 which began technically under Clinton''s watch, but was bound to happen anyway regardless of political party. It''s called the business cycle - we have booms and we have recessions and we have everything in between.

And NOW you are not only having to bail out those Americans, you are having to bail out the banks that made the scam loans at his request!

I heard on the news yesterday that we are not only going to be bailing out America''s banks but banks from foreign countries also. I honestly do not know if it was the dems or repubs that requested that action be taken also. I have heard it was both.

Guilty!! Didn''t read the full article. That being said...the Repubs controlled congress in the latter part of Clinton''s Presidency. And I know full well how deregulation works. I come from a state where a Republican Gov. deregulated the power company. I have seen my electric bill double in size. Then same Gov. goes to Washington to be a lobbyist.
I will fully vet any more articles before I input. But I sure wish McCain would have done the same with hie choice for VP

Both sides are playing whatever card they can. Obama is trying to divide based on race and McCain is trying to divide based on gender. How does this surprise any of you. Any candidate is going to use what they feel will get them elected. Just be thankful that you still have the freedom to come on a place like this and speak your views and your opinions because one day it could be gone.

McCain, nor any of his ads hold a word about racism, however Obama continues to play his race card like it''''s his second fiddle attached to the chip on his shoulder!

Right on, the only mouth I''ve seen "racism" come from is Barack''s very own.

When asked about what happened with the NASDAQ today, President Bush said, ''''Its a great sport!!!'''' The president went on to say, ''''I have been a huge fan of car racing sports for many many years!!!''''

probably won''''t surprise you to hear that I can''''t explain it. I haven''''t been very impressed with Bush or the turn this country has taken for the last 18 years or so. I don''''t know what has happened to America. We have become the laughing stock of the world. Where we once were considered a force to be reckoned with we are now seen as the biggest bunch of hateful, spoiled, arrogant people in the world. I have come to the point where I don''''t have faith in either side. Where I once was so stubborn that I voted straight republican and didn''''t pay attention to the issues, I started coming on here to listen to people to read what I could and try to make the best decision possible. My choice will be McCain. I know that doesn''''t surprise you either.

Of course it doesn''t surprise me that you will vote Republican any more than it would surprise you that I will vote Democrat.
Actually it may surprise you that I wish no ill will to anyone. However...I do have enough pride in my party to take offence at the slander being spread about Obama. As you do about McCain and your party. There is enough blame to go around.

And no one side is to blame. It took dems and repubs throughout history to put us in the messes we have been in and to get us out of them. Each side always wants to take credit or give credit away. It is only a dream that one day they can work together to build our country back up to the place that our founding fathers knew and hoped it could be.

Are you kidding me??? Biden was referring to FDR as being the President who had to clean up Hoover''''s mess. Last I knew..that Hoover was a Repub? Geeeee...seems that history repeats its self.LOLOL Posted by rinnie5 at 08:19 AM ================================
You might want to reread the article and Biden''s quote:
"When the stock market crashed, Franklin Roosevelt got on the television and didn''t just talk about the princes of greed. He said, ''look, here''s what happened.''"
No FDR and no TV when the market crashed in 1929. Blaming any market crash or recession soley on a political party is lame at best. We have business and economic cycles and boom/bust times. The "roaring twenties" were a time of great modernization in this country, technologically and culturally and it happened while Calvin Coolidge was president. He was a Republican. The market collapse thanks in no small part to the fact that there were no regulatory guidelines for Wall Street at the time, was followed by the Depression beginning when Hoover was elected. The Internet/telecoms booms occurred under President Clinton who is a Democrat. The Dow Jones and NASDAQ indices peaked in January and March of 2000 respectively when Clinton was still in office and all indications were that a Gore presidency was in the bag. The recession began in November of 2000 when Clinton was still in office.

And you know me??? And I totally agree about the pure hatred between the parties. If I may be so rude as to ask...what happened to the promise of GWB that he was going to be a "Uniter"? As a matter of fact...I can''''t stand GWB. But at this point I almost feel sorry for him. He is a man without a country and a party that has turned their backs on him. Wonder why that is?? Explain please.............

Look when you know me, my character, or anything about me you can make judements but until then don''''t assume to know what I am about.

I AM a republican who has in fact voted on the democratic ticket before. I have always tried to look at both sides. I haven''''t once said a thing about whether I believe one candidate over another. You are assuming and drawing your own conclusions. Funny when dems can come on here and posts sayings from McCain or Palin, basically trying to smear republicans, but when a republican comes on and disputes anything you say or posts anything your candidates say that you don''''t want to hear then we are the bad guys.

Of all the wars in the world I think America has the oldest war in history still raging, the war between her own people.....democrats and republicans.

And you know me??? And I totally agree about the pure hatred between the parties. If I may be so rude as to ask...what happened to the promise of GWB that he was going to be a "Uniter"?
