- Senator Biden probably meant FDR talked on the radio not TV. I have watched Senator Biden for years on the Senate Foreign relations committee. I have the highest respect for him as a highly competent public servant. Joe Biden has a strong command of foreign policy and national security issues. He will fight for middle class families from day one. I am glad he is on the ticket he will do a good job for the Obama Administration. I will welcome him as VP because I know he won''t hesitate to let President Obama know his views. I have no doubt he will meet with many foreign leaders to help restore America to its rightful place in the family of nations.

- Biden, please stay away from the stage.
It''s not actually your business!
Obama doesn''t really need a VP.
He is more than you plus McCain and Palin.

- A teacher gave Dan Quale a card printed by a firm that makes educational products. The card had potato misspelled. He was never forgiven. Joe Biden confuses when FDR took power, when televisions were in mass use, and what happened after the 1929 crash. Biden''s screwup is completely ignored.

- Had Palin made that unthinkable, completely unknowledgable FDR gaff, it would have been headline news. Talk about knowing anything about foreign policy...Bidden doesn''t even know what goes on in America!

- It didn''t go without notice that Miss Katie let go Bidden''s HUGE knowledge gaff concerning FDR, who was leader during the depression and when TV was invented. I mean...that shows HUGE, HUGE ignorance. But Bidden gets a pass from ALL big networks, except FOX. Yet, the msm''s couldn''t sleep nights until they had shredded Gov. Palin''s answer to C Gibson''s question about the Bush Doctrine. What''s really, really amazing, is that she actually answered the question. Bidden didn''t have a clue what he was talking about!!!

- Though "sideways" comments about Obama''s inability to succeed as U.S. President because of probable irrelevancies involving his ethnic background seem to have taken hold on U.S. online news networks, I thought that more engaging news conversations about his platform (and candidate Biden''s) and policies could again be addressed. Please keep up the good work, Ms. Couric!

- Once again your over paid Katie, either was unaware or did not care to correct Joe Biden on one of his many error''s in speech. I assure you had Ms. Palin made this mistake she would have jumped at the opportunity to correct her. But Katie, for your information neither the TV or Roosevelt were around for the market crash of 1929.
Joe Biden quote "art of what being a leader does is to instill confidence is to demonstrate what he or she knows what they are talking about and to communicating to people ... this is how we can fix this," Biden said. "When the stock market crashed, Franklin Roosevelt got on the television and didn''t just talk about the princes of greed. He said, ''look, here''s what happened.''"
I guess that proves he does not know what he is talking about and CBS doesn''t care to correct him. - Reply to this comment
- News flash for all of you political neophytes, xenophobes, negrophobes, and religious zealots planning to vote McCain/Palin: WAKE UP!!! The future of this country is either a radical change from the past OR a continued decent into the abyss. This election is NOT a joke! McCain/Palin on the Republican ticket is an insult to ALL AMERICANS!! Stop the madness of the past eight years NOW!!! GOD WILL NOT SAVE US - we must do that for ourselves. McCain and Palin may be fantastic people, but their political direction is WRONG for our nation. Wrong for the ECONOMY, for the ENVIRONMENT, and for FOREIGN RELATIONS! If you love your children and your country, give Obama/Biden a chance to make a change. Thank you.

- At least the Obama-Biden campaign think enough of their vice presidential candidate to let him think and talk for himself. Totally refreshing and compelling.

- Fortunately, women who will vote for McCain/Palin will use their heads and vote with their brains. The rest of the feminazi''s will vote with their ***.
