Are you bothered at all by the fact that McCain''s top advisers were lobbyists for Fanie Mae and Freddie Mac? Does it bother you that they successfully lobbied McCain and Congress to turn a blind eye to their reckless practices?

Does it bother you at all?

For those who only look to the past, oh, two or three days, as history I suggest you go back to 1995. Andrew Cuomo, in bubba''s administration, and with his backing regulated that lending houses had to make mortgages affordable for ALL. Particularly for minorites. So, that being said, anyone could go into a mortgage company or bank and virtually get a mortgage because the government said so.
If that is not seen as regulation than I don''t know what is. That tactic took afirmative action to a new level.
If we all can''t see that both parties are at fault for allowing this practice to go on than you people are so full of hate and vile you can''t think rationally.
And here, in the nanny state of NY we are so blessed to have little mario''s baby in our government. And he continues to push this dangerous tactic.

Misha, why do you present us with FACTS? We''re talking about Bush the great American patriot here. You can''t talk about the awful things a patriot has done. Why, he''s a patriot. He''s a great American. Great Americans can''t do damage to this country! Don''t you know that only conservatives care about this country? Everybody else hates America and hopes it fails at everything. Don''t you know that?

Tell us exactly what social programs have cost the federal government in the last 80 years?

I suggested the War on Terra'' is the Republican entitlement program to bolster the profits of their constituents by the current president that is contributing the most to the deficit and the least to national security. Considering Al Qaeda was present in a hand full of countries before the war and now between 60 and 100 countries depending on the source and their strength is estimated to be at the very least equal to before 9/11. I say the War on Terra'' is losing on pretty much all counts.

You can''t really fault John McCain for not being effective or competent in doing anything before the economy started crashing down around our heads.

Even though economists did see it coming, McCain was to busy inventing the blackberry to do anything about it.

70% of the national debt was run up by just 3 Republican Presidents. Are you saying they spent it all on social programs? Doesn''''t that contradict you moronic point?

Again, how do you expect others to understand you when you don''t even understand you?

Hello?

You there?

We could also be talking about John McCain here as he says the CxO''s and management are making too much money and getting too much in golden parachutes when the quit or are fired.
