Sarah Palin is today''''s woman. She understands what women are about. She actually has a family and a job and does well. She has spent more time running her state then Mr. Obama has spent working in the Senate. Mr. Obama has spent the last 1 1/2 yrs. running for president out of three years in the Senate! Who cares how big Alaska is, she runs a state, Mr. Obama didn''''t.
As for Mr. Biden. After almost thirty years in govenment what has he done to make a difference? Did he do anything in all those years to change the energy crisis we have right now? He knew what the 70''''s were like.
No this is the problem with the Washington crowd. They are content to talk a good talk and keep us hanging.
At least McCain has the courage to buck the system in Washington.
Sarah Palin can run circles around these two men.
If Palin had to step in as President, she has more experience in government than Obama. She''''s been involved making decisions since 1992. What exactly has Obama done? His friends are scary. That''''s says alot about the man.

I have a question for bratz21...

How are the following (that you posted) qualifications to become the next V.P./President of the U.S.???

"1. She is a mother of 5, married to a loyal husband of 20 yrs.
2. Her Son is in the Military service, just like the two sons of John McCain.
3. She is educated
4. She is against Abortion
5. A Christian
6. She is a fighter, a maverick in her own party
7. She is all around, a hunter, in to sports
9. She is a beauty queen.....first time USA will have a good looking Vice President. In fact, she is much much better looking than Hilary & MICHELLE OBAMA. Michelle will be the "UGLIEST" FIRST black Lady in the history of USA if BARRY will be elected....or they could be the "First Ugliest black Couple " in the white house....he,he,he."

I may give you "number 8" in a very small way - but to be honest with you the jury is not out as to how she has balanced a state budget since she has not even been governor for 2 years yet...

Again a very puffed up resume''...

And why is this a laughing matter? It is not a comedy movie... It is actually real life!!!

I highly doubt that you are even female let alone one of a "disgruntled Hillary supporter"... By your post you demonstrate that you are most likely a male republican who is cloaked by a male Internet name.

that''s what it is really about for you people--the color. WE all knew this. LOL IN a way, I sort of wish McCain and Palin would win--and when our country was completely neck deep in he11--my hope is that those that suffer the most and are the most brutally effected--are the ones who voted their prejudice and not their common sense and sense of responsibility. LOL

I am one out of the 18 million of us so called "Disgruntled Hillary supporters" who will be voting for McCain and especially Palen now that McCain has shown the courage to chose a woman and his VP. The Obama campaign had been sexist towards Hillary and we women are not going to tolerate it anymore. I am asking other Democratic women to join us in sending a message to our Democratic Party Leadership that THEY do not chose our Nominee by intimidating elected Delegates into voting for THEIR choice.

and it does not bother you that she has no experience, is under investigation and faces possible impeachment, there is proof of her lying and abusing her power as governor? Guess for some--the emotional discharge of your vaginnna overcomes your common sense. LOL Ah Well. LMAO

It appears Ms. Palin is a very, very bad girl with questionable judgment, and possible abuse of power issues and it appears a big , fat , liar. Typical republican, I guess...LOL Wonder if she will get indicted in Alaska.

Osama Bin Laden and Al Qaeda are SALIVATING over the prospect of a "Hockey Mom" taking over as US President from a 73-year old man with cancer.

And the leaders of China are laughing at the incredible stupidity of Americans...knowing that they''ll be cleaning our clock and taking over the world economy in the next ten years with their advanced technologies, endless money from American imports, and endless cheap labor.

What an incredible embarrassment for America. John W McCain has BETRAYED his country...all for a few extra votes.

Now...we can finally understand what kind of man would betray his faithful first wife and family by having an affair with the richest woman in Arizona and dumping them to marry her. He''s a pathological power-mad money-hungry egotist. PATHETIC what he''s turned into.

FYI----even before McCain announced his VP pick , my three sisters who are Hillary''s supporters already vowed to vote for McCain after she lost the primary. Even Hillary tries to convince her followers to vote for Obama, my sisters were defiant & very firm in their final decision to turn Republican & vote for John as a sign of Protest.
My sisters were cheering with joy as soon as Sarah''s name was announced last night to be John''s running mate.
So dont believed what the democrat spinners were saying in the convention that the Clinton supporters are now on Obama''s camp. Not true at all. Example here are my sisters, friends at work & some of my neighbors who are voting against Obama come election day.

The Democrat party & democrat bloggers wasted no time in attacking Sarah as soon as they announced her as the running mate of McCain.

Sarah has it all...her qualification scared the Democrats so much. She got the media attention all day long yesterday & today.

1. She is a mother of 5, married to a loyal husband of 20 yrs.
2. Her Son is in the Military service, just like the two sons of John McCain.

4. She is against Abortion
5. A Christian
6. She is a fighter, a maverick in her own party
7. She is all around, a hunter, in to sports
8. She has experience in governing a City & a State, it does not matter if Alaska has 9,000 or a million population, you get the same amount experience in governing, making decision, balancing the budget, etc.etc.
9. She is a beauty queen.....first time USA will have a good looking Vice President. In fact, she is much much better looking than Hilary & MICHELLE OBAMA. McCainiacs- your posts are very Hannity, very Limbaugh%u2026an EMPTY brain is easy to fill with crud, and the divide and conquer right wing media has filled yours well. My Lincoln to Obama comparison stands%u2026without any substantive rebuttal from you or anyone else%u2026because it is valid%u2026What makes Obama more qualified you ask? How about winning a democratic Primary, over a well-healed and supported Clinton, and earning about 10 million more votes than your feeble candidate%u2026

McCainiacs - Wasn''t it your God people who were praying for it to rain in Denver last week...and now they have their answer - Katrina''s big brother Gustav is bearing down the same way during your Republican sham convention? How is it that the religious in Europe seek greater social services to protect the children that ARE born and the "religious" in your party only seek to protect them to birth and could give a crud beyond the womb? How many of those %u201Cright-to-lifers%u201D have taken in minority foster children from our ghettos? How many of them would vote for a tax hike to pay for pre-and post natal care for all those aborted fetuses?
McCainiacs- remember, guns don%u2019t kill people, people with guns kill people and children with guns kill people, and children (over 100,000 kids killed since 1979, now that%u2019s pro-life!), and children with guns kill each other, and children with guns kill themselves, and people with guns in their homes are far more likely to die from gun violence than those who don%u2019t...

McCainiacs- Yes running a REAL state is a challenge, especially if you''ve done it at least two years (she hasn%u2019t yet). Alaska has only 600K citizens, and that%u2019s only during the summer. This right-wing-nut has neither the education nor the experience to be competitive for selection as a Whitehouse Intern, much less a senior and permanent member of the National Security Council. She%u2019s a great lady, but barely qualified to be a 2nd Lieutenant in our military much less one heartbeat away from being Commander-In-Chief. You keep smiling and push this clown and his gimmick sidekick, I am going to do my upmost to make sure my children are protected by leadership that was picked democratically (IE Obama%u2019s primary win) or by undeniable qualifications (IE Joe Biden%u2019s preeminent national security resume). As for Mrs. %u201CMainstream,%u201D I%u2019ll pass, this isn%u2019t a contest for %u201CMs Congeniality,%u201D though she%u2019s actually won that prestige, this is about the security of our nation during a time of WAR! Which would you pick to do your open-heart surgery, a well-educated doctor; or Mr. %u201Cmost-like-me-an-you?%u201D Duh.

liberty_1776 - you are the type of person who discriminates against others as you try to call us "anti-americans".

The reason America was born was to provide Freedom of Religion and Speech. If we disagree we are allowed to... If you want a world where everyone must believe what you believe - you do not want to be in America as there is nothing more anti-American (understand that the country is capitalized) than for someone to call a person anti-American if they do not believe the same as you.

Now if you have something to say that does not impugn others'' patriotism because they like a black man or that the black man''s name is different - for president - then we may take you seriously.

If you can''t learn to live in a world without discrimination - you have a harder road to travel than if you would understand the Golden Rule... EVERYONE is EQUAL... Do unto others and treat others - as if you were them - yourself...

McCain will be president, and Palin will be Vice President. You Obama supporters (anti-Americans) will be crying like babies the day after the election. But don''t get too upset - you can always move to Canada!

continued-

And please don''t tell me she has "done it all" and expect me to believe it. She is not a "single" mom because she is an "evangelical"... It worries me that she would not have any understanding or concerns for single moms with her holier than thou attitude as she "chose" to have a baby that has Down''s Syndrome.

I can''t see other mothers who deal with their Down''s babies every day believing she would have their best interests at heart as she will not have a clue what it is to be a hands on mom - whether she becomes the V.P. or if she stays in a job as Governor...

Everyone says that the democrats are underestimating her... Well then enlighten us... Find more information and more qualifications for her to become President.

As everyone says we are not voting for the V.P. we are voting for the President (and that is what it was supposed to be) but with McCain''s senile decision to use an inexperienced young woman the issue has been clouded over with the wrong type of discussions.

The concern is real with McCain and his potential health. In this case it is a real concern about the V.P. choice and now I am truly concerned about his mental capacity as he demonstrates his lack of memory.

I might mention that his inability to recall the number of houses he and his wife own may not actually be a sign that he is out-of-touch but having problems with his memory...

I must comment on this article. I keep thinking back at the movie I believe was titled "Dave"... Where a look-a-like nobody played the President of the U.S.

Who Really is Sarah Palin? Equals 7 paragraphs - none longer than 2 sentences and five of the paragraphs only contain one sentence descriptions.

We have a lot of information about her personal life and a puffed up resume'' about her experience as an "administrator"...

What makes her able to be the Commander in Chief of the U.S. military? She has been the Commander of Chief of the Alaska National Guard for ?2 years (not even - as she started her "leadership" of Alaska in Jauary of 2007).

What major decisions has she been required to make in order to demonstrate that she knows what to do with that National Guard if there were a need for her to do so? I see a lot of puffed up resume'' material but I don''t see any real accomplishments.

She may be a good talker and she may have taken on a couple of causes but so have I... Why didn''t he pick me or any number of other "Hockey Mom''s" with administrative experience???

The first and most important thing that has irritated me about all of the talk about Ms. Palin is that Biden must step very carefully when interacting with her as he may turn voters off by appearing "to be bullying her"...

My response to this ridiculous spiel that many republican analysts are saying on many of the interviews is that if she can''t take "bullying" she should not be in this type of politics.

I have not seen anyone take the gloves off for Hillary ever... Even when she was the First Lady they were constantly attacking Hillary. No one changed their tone toward her...

If they want this mother of 5 (who she is not an active participant in parenting as she is too busy and will be even more busy to get to know her infant son who needs more attention than less and who she "chose" to have anyway)to run for the V.P. position she better be able to take any type of what may appear to be bullying by anyone who is inclined to do so.

If she should become the vice President she will have to be strong enough to stand up to much worse via our adversarial leaders of many countries who do not like the U.S.

I am a woman and think I am about as qualified as she but I am Pro Choice which would not bode well with the evangelical republicans...

At first I laughed and now I just shake my head in disbelief...
