CBS Evening News: Despite Stigma, Religious Leaders Say They Can't Ignore Disease Any Longer
- so decent heterosexual people stop getting it so much from them. They lie with their "fake" bisexuality (which doesn''''t exist by the way it''''s a CHOICE) and give it to decent people and ruin their lives.

If you are a ''decent heterosexual'' and might be ''getting it'' from them with ''their "fake" bisexuality'' then I would say that it''s your choice too and perhaps you need to reassess the word "decent" - Reply to this comment
- Black men and women (and everyone else too) must not forget what I fore father believed in. Jesus the Christ, and remember all of his teachings from being a lover of your enemy to hating evils done by normal people. Then act on the teaching. If you are not a lover of Christ, get to know him, you need him.
White people (some of them) out there, why are you so hateful? If these people (some of my people, and Gay people) want to condemn themselves to the fiery life, let them. You do not need to hate on them. Hey, you might even want to feel sorry for them. If you think that they are doing is wrong tell them in love; help them if they want it. If that doesn%u2019t work then let them know why you can%u2019t help them anymore. Then use that them as a learning tool for your children, so that they don%u2019t follow their path. - Reply to this comment
- What is wrong with some of you people!! As a black man whom is married (been only with my wife), lover of Christ and a person with close white friends. Some of the things that have been said here are very hurtful and wrong. First off a person should only have *** within their marriage. That would keep a lot of unwanted things out of your life (like STD''s and unwanted and aborted children) and both people (men and women) must keep their promise made to GOD in front of your spouse for a lifetime. The Gay way of life (that is what some mean when we say lifestyle) is wrong, period and just because you think you like something doesn''t make it right. Because if that is your decision (living a Gay lifestyle) then understand you are like a four leaf clover (different) and being different doesn''t mean that the rest of the people have to love or even like you especially when you keep putting it in everybody%u2019s face that you are just like everyone else because you are not. Simple and plain!!

- Black washes off. Just look at Colin Powell, Barack Obama, Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods... You don''t have to be black. You can just be a person, which is how these people and millions of others are seen by those around them.
I''m white as rice (not Condoleeza) and I''m voting for Obama not because he''s black, not in spite of the fact he''s black, but because he acts like a responsible, inteligent man. - Reply to this comment
- AIDS isn''t just a ''gay'' thing. It''s a disease. If someone gets it, it''s time to pony up and help them get through it, no matter from whence or why it came. It''s just human body frailty! It has nothing to do with religion. And if your church excommunicates, what the HELL kind of sick church are you attending? Get away from it as fast as you can and find one that lives Christianity instead of just PROFESSES to it!

- Hey GOP...just think...homos*exuality would definitely curb the teen pregnancy problem we''''re experiencing in this country right now!
And most of the g*ay couples I know are committed, caring, and probably better parents than some of the other hetero couples I know.
Just think...if you have to work that hard to have a child, you probably want it that badly that you''''re most likely committed to parenthood.
No accidental pregnancies there.
So what were you...14, 15 when you had your first of six kids? Are you from that cult here in Texas? Brainwashed at a young age that SATAN is creeping around every corner of your house...just TEMPTING you to do something sinful? --------------------------------------------------------------------------------Posted by aggiekat2004

You would. How about abstinance and chastity? How about controlling ones emotions instead of being slaves to them? - Reply to this comment

- I look forward to the day that someone close to you...a family member, a friend, a dear friend''''s child...comes out of the closet. How will you deal with it? Or better yet...I''''m sure some are ALREADY g*ay or are carriers of HIV/AIDS, but can''''t have an honest conversation with you because you are so judgmental.
It must be a shame to live in a "white" castle like yours...and not be able for people to share their true feelings with you for fear of having to go to "reparation." What a joke. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------Posted by aggiekat2004

thats already occurred. A classmate of mine told everyone he is gay. We dont know what happened to him after that because we all did the right christian thing to do which was excommunication. - Reply to this comment
- aggiekat2004 - I was surprised to find out that she is a woman as well. Although I''m starting to believe she gets a kick out of shocking people as opposed to her comments stating her true opinion!

Remember the childhood song %u201COld McDonald Had A Farm%u201D? Meditate on the phrase E-I-E-I-O which you should have learned means Exhale-Inhale-Exhale-Inhale-Once again.
Your tax dollars? Are you crazy? Do you think you%u2019re the only one that pays taxes? I bet I%u2019ve paid a hell of a lot more in the past 12 months than you have in your entire life.
Edward1975:
Get a clue. Are you really that ignorant to think we made the choice? Do you really think we would have chosen a lifestyle to live and exist in a world where ignorant people like you live? Did you have a choice? Could you make the choice? Of course not so stop showing your ignorance.

Your comments are just so idiotic I can%u2019t even think of a reply.

Oh yeah, THAT will do the trick.
The funny thing is that your uptight conservative values prevent you from seeing the fact that not all HIV/AIDS carriers are g*ay, drug users, or perverts.
It is NOT a punishment from a loving, caring "god" who frowns upon a particular behavior.

- Dear starsnbars12:
Whatever fear, anguish or lack of sympathy you suffer from, I hope you find peace within yourself because your cannot offer what you do not have. That''s not whether it is religiously based or not. That is an assumption you make because of your own insecurities. My only suggestion is that you look at whether or not you suffer from a constant desire to be right, regardless of its consequences. That''s because you are hurting yourself more than anyone else. - Reply to this comment

- I think that the bloggers who do not seem to care about those with HIV/AIDS are deserving of the compassion they deny those to whom they do not have an ability to extend their or God''s love. The bloggers deserve human and Godly compassion because they have hurt, anger or rage unresolved within themselves. I suggest with contemplate their anguish because they injure not only those who have HIV/AIDS, but themselves as well.
It''s astonishing that only about 10% of Charlotte-area churches alone are part of the Interfaith network. Is neglecting to help others with a disease what Jesus would do? To me, part of the problem is the "Disease of Perception" from which the non-participating churches apparently suffer. I have compassion for these members and their churches, however. That''s because there is some sort of fear or hurt they must feel that prevents them from extending their help and love to others. - Reply to this comment
- You choose to live a lifestyle such as this, you suffer the consequences. Your choice of living a non-christian life is no fault of the church. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------Posted by Edward1975
