You sound like part of the problem not the solution.

Don''t expect an answer from the liberals that think it is ok for illegals to be here. They won''t answer an honest question.

Yes, anyone who disagree with Minimoose must leave the country immediately. Geez, if Thomas Jefferson were alive today, he wouldn''t give you the time of day.

and on that note everyone enjoy your evening regardless of your opinions here as due to our troops defending this country (god bless them) for being able to voice your opinion without government interference

Mariah - since you feel so sorry for these poor underpriveledged people perhaps you should go to mexico and live - see how you are treated as an american living there NOT as a tourist because they bend over backwards for tourist dollars - but go live there. AND for the SUV''s I know as I have seen them driving them around and they are all members of the unions and when they fly the mexican flag ABOVE the American flag and you find that totally acceptable then none of you belong here
Murder is murder - pertaining to the story but we don''t know all the facts and people on these blogs only comment on what they read - anyone can read inbetween the lines and come to their conclusion of what might have happened - but when you have to deal with gang shootings constantly and have to listen to the whining sniveling about how they are mistreated because we can''t give them more than what we already are giving AND when they expect our schools WHICH ARE IN AMERICA AND ENGLISH IS THE LANGUAGE to have to teach in Spanish then it''s time to say NO - sorry but you come here legally and you will be treated with the utmost respect and welcomed - otherwise, have a nice trip back home

Minimoose, my dear, I was born and raised in San Diego, and so was my mother, and her father served in the Navy here as a life-long serviceman. What you are telling people about "driving past the fields" and seeing workers'' SUVs and children wearing 120.00 sneakers is an absolute lie. There may be SUVs parked around there, but I guarantee you don''t belong to the migrant workers. Any fool knows how many cents a crop picked these workers make. Believe me, no child of a migrant worker is wearing 120.00 sneakers. If they are, it is because they were donated by kind people who get sick to their stomachs at the sight of dirt-poor children in many cities of Mexico. Why don''t you go with a church group or a charity organization to the non-tourist areas of Mexico sometime. Learn the truth by getting out into the world instead of locking yourself up in hate in your little bubble. Personally, as a San Diegan, I would rather snooty, ignorant, spoiled Whites like yourself would leave California than any hard-working Mexican I can think of. Murder is murder and that is universal.

Mariah my dear then you should live in Ca... because all we ever hear is how bad the illegals are treated, and the gangs run rampant in Salinas and when caught they are always "good" kids BUT just like the other day a fight broke out and someone was killed and an hour after the police finished their investigation the occupants of the house moved out - no forwarding address... this is almost a daily occurance here - they protest in the streets carrying the mexican flag and some have even flown their flag above the american flag... not every American welcomes them - if they are legal fine but not illegal and again alot of people have to be educated on what illegal means.
Like I said before when I drive by the fields and there are new SUV''s parked out there and they belong to the workers don''t tell me they aren''t making a decent salary and living in the area and involved in alot of service work out here I see what they drive/what they wear (their kids are wearing $120 sneakers... yet they pay for their food with food stamps that my tax dollars pay for. There is NO excuse for illegals in this country - come here legally and we will welcome you come here illegally and you will not be welcomed

Not much information at all on the actual crime, "a street fight" turning out with one man dead. Was it four men against one? How is it a street fight if it is one against four? I''ll have to search the PA newspaper, but after hearing the ignorant, filthy-mouthed citizens of the city this happened in, I would be skeptical of the news account in their local paper. Why is it often the most ignorant, ineducated whites who hate non-whites so much? Mexicans get work here in the States not just because they often will work for lower wages, but the plain truth is, they WORK HARD and do not constantly complain, moaning and groaning their way through the work day. They are people who value and understand the meaning of every nickel and dime they earn. I''m an American in the West who appreciates their work ethic. They are what Americans USED to be like when we actually thought we were not too good for the hard work.
