Typical nut job neocon response, twist it to fit your agenda. If Congress does not declare war, then it is not a war. The benefits to our service men and women increase dramatically if war is declared. Ask anyone who served during the Korean and Vietnam conflicts. What we are doing in Iraq is nothing short of police action plain and simple. So stop trying to rewrite history.

- Our DSHS offices gives them money, medical help and food. When an american born citizen who has worked all their lives goes in because they are struck down with an illness, they get the run around. The benefits we pay for are going to help and protect the cheap labor that is being pushed onto our communities.

- IF you truly want to come here and make a better life for yourself and your family, then come here legally, obey the laws and above all speak the language. The money this country would save in printing all the federal, state and all DMV paperwork in English only is in the billions.

They had a story on the news a couple of weeks ago about a school district that was in the process of rapidly changing its demographics due to immigration (both legal and illegal). They interview the principle of one of the schools and he said he had to send notices out in thirteen different languages. Yikes! - Reply to this comment

- the Iraqi war is legal, demonic-rat hero oscar, emmy, nobel prize winning al bore says so,,,
it actually never ended since it only stopped by the signing of a ceasefire,,, just like the korean war,,,
Hey *** boy, I hate to break this to you but we were never at war with Korea let alone Iraq. The last "war" we were in was WWII. Korea, police action, Vietnam, police action and Iraq police action. - Reply to this comment
- Meanbiker,
Acutally according to the American Immigration Lawyers Association illegals are not eligible for any welfare and legal immigrants are actually very restricted.
I work for DFS and where you get info is a crock. We have to give them food stamps and medical. What we do not provide for them the our goverment grants do. They get low income housing emergency medical just for crossing the border and free lawyers at any public defenders office in any state. Our goverment does not one thing to keep them out. We have mexican TV, radio stations, Spanish printed on evey item you buy.Our kids must take spanish to graduate and pass it with a C or better or they get no credit for the class. If this was a white kid that died he would not of made the papers. - Reply to this comment
- My family immigrated from Europe and they spoke only the native language in the home. ONLY if no company was present. If we went into the public we spoke ENGLISH and if we didn''t boy the consequences when we got home.... oh oh. Well, let''s just hope that soon things will get better and we can all live in harmony as long as "others" start to realize that lifes lessons are very hard to learn.
