Chief Says Roadblocks Keep Thugs Out Of Murder-Plagued Area, Some Residents Disagree
- Here''s an idea; Let the people have guns to defend themselves without the registration requirements they have now. The registration is just another hindrance and a way to track the law abiding citizen. The criminals don''t abide by the laws, so their weapons will not be registered anyway.

- I say pull out the police and let them kill themselves then, *** if you don''t have police doing something then *** if they do. If they are worried that a police officer checking out people is a problem then let them just die. I''m not sure why just because you''re poor or down on your luck you have to have crime and death. Good culture there. Yeah i''d hang onto that great "African" culture as you call it. At least with their pants around their knees they will be easy to catch if you "ax" me.

- Oh just show your ID and be quiet. Let''s not exagerate all this police state stuff.
Police can''t win sometimes. if crime is out of control then blame them, if they try to take measures to stop it then were in a police state. - Reply to this comment
- There must be better ways to fight crime than using road blocks that are Orwellian and blatantly unconstitutional. What about more cops on the beat, walking around the neighborhoods?
