- Btw, excuse the typos, that is strong coffee, rather than inadequate education.

When you can show me a public school in a "Black" neighborhood that is adequately funded, with the current materials necessary to educate astudents sufficient for college preparation, or for a real vocation, relevant applied arts education, and the fundamentals of business administration, I will then show you lots of people of all ethnic stripe that would not have to make the choice between inadequate shcooling, and schooling in an environment in which they are not welcome... - Reply to this comment

It is not Mr. Obama that they are afraid of at all, it is his ethnicity. Judging by many posters here, many would rather see America collapse into anarchy, even if it means misery for them and their children, than say "Mr. President" to a "Black" man.
His "wimpiness" is quite apparent, as he reaches out to assuage the fears of those who will never be assuages, for reasons mentioned above. He should be calling for Bush to be held personally responsible for the lies that led to the war in Iraq, instead of soft peddling our necessary exit.
I would rather see a much more defined shift from the "trickle down" economics, and "war as a tool of corporate policy", and I think the closer Mr. Obama comes to this, the larger the landslide by which he will win.
I also think his current strategy of hinting at being "McSame lite" will fail, as those so inclined dont want lite, they want "Bush heavier."
He should go on TV, and address those who infer that he is a "Muslim terrorist", by just showing them the middle finger, call all of them liars, cowards, and racists, and dare them to show evidence of their assertions, or ****.
Then it would be Guinness record landslide time. - Reply to this comment

- Someone actually said this on TV," showing the Obama''''s with their children was important since most Americans wonder what a black family looks like".
