THERE ARE A LOT OF INSURANCE COMPANIES MUCH BETTER THAN ALLSTATE THAT WILL PAY IN FULL! DON''T LISTEN TO ANY EXCUSES! ALLSTATE IS COMMITTING FRAUD BY PROMISING TO COVER EXPENSES THEY DON''T WANT TO OR CAN''T COVER. THAT IS FRAUDULENT! IF THEY CAN''T PAY, THEN THEY SHOULDN''T PLAY!

ALLSTATE ARE CROOKS! THEY ARE RIPPING OFF EVERY SINGLE PERSON WHO HAS A CLAIM AND THEY HAVE BEEN DOING IT FOR QUITE AWHILE! THEY RIPPED ME OFF FOR OVER A $1,000....BUT EVEN WORSE THERE ARE LITTLE CHILDREN INJURED IN AUTO ACCIDENTS WHO ARE NOT GETTING ALL OF THEIR MEDICAL CARE COVERED BECAUSE ALLSTATE IS RIPPING OFF THEIR PARENTS! ALLSTATE IS HORRIBLE! THEY ARE CROOKS! LOOK AT WHAT CONSUMERS HAVE TO SAY ABOUT ALLSTATE AT http://www.my3cents.com/! THEY ALLEGEDLY ARE ALSO BEING INVESTIGATED BY THE WASHINGTON APPELATE COURT FOR VIOLATING LAWS PERTAINING TO SETTLING CASES PROPERLY AND PROMPTLY AND IN GOOD FAITH!

CORRECTION:

Both of you should KNOW that not for profit means that the businesses exist only to help people. Insurance companies were never created to help people. They are just legal protection rackets. The goal is to offer protection, collect the money, occassional make a great payout--attract more money and gamble that the money collected can be invested to make more money--but only rarely should there be a payout.

This is why insurance companies always try to bail out of major catastrophe areas--it is a bad risk for them. They NEVER existed to really help anyone out--it is a gambling, numbers running sort of game. With the company banking on the fact that most of their customers will pay in, they will keep the money and invest it, and the customer will never collect OR they will find a reason never to pay out.

Insurance companies that are NTP are usually state run and owned companies--all else would not be in business, if the money and risk factors were not in their favor. It really is a scam.

Not all corporations are evil just because they make profits!... Posted by fairbalance3

I agree, any and all corporations are entitled to, and expected to, make a profit. But we''re talking PROFIT here, 4.9 BILLION dollars! Can you say "extreme greed"?
Even if they cut their profits down to ONE billion, imaging how much money their policy-holders would save on premiums. But of course, that''s not their problem, right? Just squeeze them for every last penny. It''s makes me so mad, I could spit. (Ptooie!) There, I just did. Feel better now.
Peace

Who is this NUT.

Here we go again. Lets whine and blame another for our ignorance. Alas, Don''''t worry the government will bail you out again. Let''''s see, living below sea level, buying more house than we can afford, having children we can''''t afford, buying less insurance than we need, my kids are ugly, my wife is fat, sounds like another worthless reality show to me. Don''''t worry if it flops the government is there to bail you out, just in case you have no talent, or intelligence.

Talk about a nut. This is it. This is worst then Allstate.

Allstate won''''t insure Flood Damage, Wild Fires or Earth Quakes. Their moto should be "If God did it we won''''t Insure it"

Actually, most insurance policies from most companies do NOT insure "Acts of God" or war unless you have a special rider. To get insurance for floods, hurricanes, wind damage, earthquakes or other such acts now, you have to pay more and take out riders. Especially for floods. Almost all policies as a rule do NOT cover floods--in some places, buying the rider is mandatory (like earthquake riders in CA and flood riders near major rivers and on the coast) People should know that the basic policy, which is required by law on anyone with a mortgage--is for replacing your refrigerator or the air cond. when the power surges--a lot of other features have so many hurdles and rules, that you must pay "extra" to get a clear payout. This means adding riders to your policy. NOte: in many places, hail damage now requires a rider.

This is not news. They do this every year and people keep buying from them. The only ones at fault here are the idiots buying from Allstate. Allstate is the worst companie in the USA. Stop buying fome them. If you don''t you will get screwed.
