Don''t you love how the oil companies/President Bush Cheney soften us up with the announcements that they are going to scr@w us EVEN MORE?!!

Maybe Bush/Cheney should set aside their hatred of Chavez and buy some serious oil from Venezuala? Oh wait that would LOWER the price at the pump - AND WE CAN''T HAVE THAT!!

No more OilMen in the Oval Office - that includes BushMcCain!!!!

My list.
Take mass transit.
Walk.
And conserve.
Now do as the Brits do.
Get off yer asre and learn from them.
America is too lazy/greedy
to build cars that save gas.
Make our things.
We used make what we use.
Today we have other nations do it.
We have enslaved the china''s people.
I should tell our leaders have.

The Grand Oil Party is also the party of war, US economic ruin, and shredding the Constitution.

Gee, thanks for the self promotion there. Did you pay CBSnews.com the proper advertising rate for that post?!

Oh, and I live near one of those "transit line" projects. And that''s the best way to describe them... PROJECTS!

There are some people, like me, who appreciate a front yard, back yard, and neighbors who ARE NOT connected by a simple wall above, below, or on the sides!

My favorite thing is all the anti-tax folk that clammor about supporting the troops. yo, you do of course understand we pay for our troops with tax money right? and our roads. no taxes, and we run a defict. run a deficit, get inflation, get inflation, everything gets more expensive. so, this is the result of the wonder boy in the white houses tax policy. no taxes, so who pays for the road your fat, diabetic selfish A$$holes drive your land boats on? Right now, its payed for by borrowing from the Chinese and Japanese. Were borrowing from our competitors, you know the other corporations on the block. Once we get streached ast 50% they just unpeg thier currency from the dollar, go to the yaun or euro, and whoops, were third world. off to mexico to work in the fields. But i really think that most of America is just too stupid to get it. its like a bunch of spoiled children. or smokers being surprised by cancer. anyway, i''d guess science and economics are too tough for the average american to grasp, after all, me first dosent include reality.

With regards to the $7 per gallon gas story, I find this kind of muck-raking, yellow press "journalism" to be deplorable.

The only thing wrong with the article is the date. At the rate it''s going it''ll $7.00/gal by the end of next year. Oh but of course, idiot and his oil buddies will be gone by then, democratic congress and president will have stabilized prices by then, so expect a drop in 2009.

He will not answer you as he is too stupid to follow up his foolish opinions with fact. There are a lot of reasons gas is high right now, none I can think of are Bush''''s fault.

Posted by guysdigdirt

OK -

1) World uncertainty about idiot''s war
2) World uncertainty about what idiot wants to do in Iran.
3) World uncertainty over idiot''s economic policies resulting in crushed $.
4) The mortgage mess (not idiot''s fault directly - GOPig Congress sarting with Phil Gramm) contributing
to weak $.
5) World uncertainty over $2 trillion US debt to China.
6) Idiot just being idiot.

That''s 5 minutes of thought - with time I could come up with more.

With regards to the $7 per gallon gas story, I find this kind of muck-raking, yellow press "journalism" to be deplorable. What purpose does it serve to engage in this sort of speculation? Us unemployed, working poor, struggling Americans have enough to worry about without your shameless "teases" about what might happen in 2012. Why not focus on the positive and beneficial efforts being taken to improve our lives? Oops. I forget that sensationalism hooks viewers. You suck.

none I can think of are Bush''''s fault.

the War, is causing the U.S. To Borrow.
the war against the Hussein Clan is being bought
on credit. as a consequense the dollar is falling,
since Oil is traded in Dollars, it costs more to purchase due to the devaluation of the Dollar.

thats just one,
