A wise Democrat (Tip O''Neill) used to say "all politics is local". The Israelis are effectively next door to Iran, so they are more concerned about Iranian nukes than we would be. They WILL strike if we do not.

At this point, I say let the Israelis do it. The war that''s sure to follow will undoubtedly draw us in, but at least that is one less thing the left wing fanatics can pin on Bush.

Especially since there is no credible evidence that the Iranian nuclear program is anything other than for civilian use. Since they are a signatory to the Nuclear Non Proliferation act they are entitled to develop civilian nuclear power.

Oh, Come one people, as if you knew this vile Bush administration wouldn''t persuade Israel to act on Bush''s behalf. Bush enjoys war and killing, and has even lied to the American people in order to fulfill his fetish. I believe in Israel''s right to exist in peace. However, for them to "push" the US to start a third war in a region where we can''t even successfully fight the two we''re in is arrogance in a high degree. If they want someone to take out Iran''s nuclear program, they should do it themselves, just like the last time. Leave us out of it.
