Posted by TruUSA, "*YOU ALREADY KNOW YOUR OWN MIND. If you already voted for HILLARY once, then WRITE IN her name on the write in vote area of the November ballot."

That would be one of the dumbest thing any Demo supporter could do. This would only take away one vote for Obama and, in essence, give it to McCain.

If you WERE going to vote for Hillary and are a Demo, then vote for Obama. Otherwise you will be voting for McCain.

Be intelligent and choose your poison wisely.

..start planning to COMPLETELY change our government, (and I''''m not just talking about going from Republican to Democrat and back and forth again).

Those are the choices.

This is the choice I prefer....We, the people, are having globalization pushed down our throats and up our *** just to make the rich folks richer, whether it be the greedy mideasterners, the war mongers, or all the other neocon elites, none of which CARE for no one other than themselves.

It is not just the $3 or $4 or even $5 per gallon gas that has changed our life styles. It is the attitude of those governing who cater to the corporations and send our jobs away, bring in cheap workers, open our borders and put our infrastructure up for sale, and worst of all, they fail to regulate the speculator hedge funds or enforce our laws. No one is held accountable for their actions.

Can this country survive four more years of the SAME?

I think the first steps should come from Bushit and Cheney on this one - they should stop jetting around the world or flying back and forth every weekend to Texas from Washington - How much fuel are we paying for for the President to take Air Force One Joy Rides?

Lead by example is what I always hear from Bushit and Cheney and then they ALWAYS disappoint!

Straight Talk Republican Style is talking out of ones ARSE!

Hey CBS why don''''t ya just call it the beginning of the North American Union.

Posted by arrestbush1 at 02:04 AM : Jun 24, 2008
............

Because that will be much more than a "lifestyle change", it will be the beginning of a revolution!

As the wealthy elite come closer to forging such an alliance with the elites of our bordering neighbors, Americans will have a clear choice...

...start planning to PERMANENTLY change your lifestyle (and not for the better)... OR...

...start planning to COMPLETELY change our government, (and I''m not just talking about going from Republican to Democrat and back and forth again).

Those are the choices.

Anyone else notice that ExxonMobil is NOT sponsoring this particular story focusing on energy consumption reduction?

Solar energy technology has been around since at least the 70s. Cost prohibition has made it fairly unpopular. After all this time, one would think that the money companies are NOT making on this technology would drive them to make it more affordable. And it CAN be done without sending or creating jobs overseas.

"It''''s finnaly over. They''''re changing the regulations on speculators. Atleast talks are underway to reduce oil costs by 50% within a month, by possibly halting all speculating together. Being the pessimist that I can be, I wonder how many in government are putting their cash in shorting oil."

Don''t be too sure. The oil companies know that the market has to bear the price, and will keep the price at current levels, maximizing profit. These windfalls will be explained away again as "taking advantage of the cyclical nature of the market", the same BS excuse they gave to congress.

If they do decrease costs by 50%, the most you might see is a 5% decrease in price, but I believe you will actually see more price rises, albeit at a slower rate of increase. $2 per gallon gas will never happen, unless we nationalize the oil companies, the reserves, and the untapped oil under US soil.

And when US military hostility escalates into Iran, you will still see $8 to $10 per gallon, just before the US economy collapses.
