I''m with you on that. If hydrogen cars were affordable and demonstrably safe, any reasonable person would choose that over a gasoline powered car. Maybe, in time, it will become reality. I just dont think its a good idea to throw out the entire current transportation system we have now until that day comes.

After Obama puts new taxes on the bad old oil companies, and they pass the tax down to the consumers, we will not be able to afford the fuel. Jobs will be lost, food production will go down, food costs will go up. But thats really what you people want, isn''''t it? To increase the cost of gasoline to the point it becomes too expensive to have which will reduce or eliminate use of fossil fuels IMMEDIATELY at any cost? They have been using the same method to eliminate tobacco use against the smokers own will.
