Katie, this was a wonderful story, we need to see more of this. It''s unbelievable in America that there are people in even worse shape than these two young hard working women. I really admire both of them and you too Katie for your reporting. Thanks for all you do.

In the related article, CBS gave a link to send them an email if you wish to help.
So I emailed: evening@cbsnews.com

In addition, the posters in this article have been industrious and have found addresses and contact info:

See at the end: If you would like to offer help to those in our "The Other America" series, please e-mail your request here.

To Seth Doane and/or CBS --
I join the others here in wanting to help. But I would rather not send funds to the charity - do you have a better address so that we can all send them something directly.
Thanks. N.J. Wilson

It broke my heart and brought me to tears when I heard Jasmine''s story. There was a sudden urge to reach out to her, not only from a monetary standpoint, but to tell it how courageous she is facing each day with little certainty; how proud both her fathers in heaven are of her unselfish acts; and that the good Lord will never bring her more than she can bear (even though there are times I''m sure he already has). My family and I would very much like to reach out to Jasmine - please let me know how we can be there for her.

Please help me get in touch with the ladies in Greenville, Jasmine and Heaven. I have a non-profit business in Cleveland Ohio, that I can''t seem to get off the ground. But I can help these young ladies. My non-profit is Mother''s Love Helping Hands, a non-profit for teenage pregant girls. Its so hard trying to help others. I hope the be able to send help to Jasmine and Heaven. I can send cloths, gift card, money. This will be out of my own savings so I would love to have contact with the ladies myself. You can give them my cell # and e-mail address.

Being from Greenville, Mississippi, I know about the poverty there. Everytime I go home for a visit, I see it. Too bad our Great country can aid other countries but will not take care of it''s own. Both of the stories in Greenville, sadden me very much and believe it of not but I have received several calls from friends asking how can they help?.
