- Is this the new episode of fear factor? The comments I have read in response to this news portray the nature of the small minded american. All you hawks just eat up whatever the government gives the media to dish out. Are your children in Iraq? Would you volunteer to go into Iran? Excercise your freedom of speach, keep this propaganda rolling, help to misrepresent actuality...fine, but please...please have our congress DECLARE WAR this time through the will of the people. It is the people that will be paying with their live, limbs and treasure. Wake up! And then grow up!

SPECIAL "CLOSED SESSION" OF U.S. HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES
Word has begun leaking from last nights special,
Closed-door session of the United States House of Representatives.
Not only did members discuss new surveillance provisions as was the publicly stated
Reason for the closed door session, they also discussed :
1. The Imminent Collapse of the U.S. economy to occur by September 2008
2. The imminent collapse of US federal government finances by February 2009
3. The possibility of Civil War inside the USA as a result of the collapse
4. Advance round-ups of "insurgent U.S. citizens" likely to move against the Government
5. The Detention of those rounded-up at "REX 84" camps constructed throughout the USA,
6. The possibility of retaliation against members of Congress for the collapses
7. The Location of "safe facilities" for members of Congress and their families
To reside during expected massive civil unrest
8. The necessary and unavoidable merger of the United States with Canada
(for its natural resources) and with Mexico (for its cheap labor pool)
9. The issuance of a new currency - THE AMERO -
For all three nations as the proposed solution to the coming economic armageddon.
Members of Congress Have Been FORBIDDEN to reveal what was discussed
Several are so furious and concerned about the future of the country,
they have begun leaking info. - Reply to this comment

- There has never been any nation in this history of man''s time on earth that has done so much good for so many people as has the United States. There has never been any nation that has done so much to spread the cause of freedom and self-government then has the United States. These accomplishments have come about because the United States is both benevolent and powerful. Take away either element and the positive influence of the United States on the affairs of the world and the lives of people everywhere will be all but gone.
So, for those of you who believe that the United States cannot be the world''s policeman, fine. You pick the replacement, because a replacement there will be. Let me know who you think can do a better job. - Reply to this comment
- Think about this. In almost every war, save two*, in which the United States has been involved, the country we were at war with was rebuilt following the conflict and its people were left to chose and elect their own government. Can you name another powerful nation with such a history? Following World War II the Soviet Union robbed the people of how many nations of their freedom? I lost count somewhere. Some of those nations are still fighting to this day to regain their independence.
There are people, Americans included, who hate the United States for its strength. These people harbor the naive world view that no nation should be stronger than another, and that no one nation should ever be allowed to dominate world affairs. Somehow, in their convoluted logic-starved minds, these people have forgotten that someone, somewhere, is going to be the top dog. Or, in the alternative, they fully realize that every wolf pack has its dominant male, and they just want that dominant male to be someone else. And just who would that be? The United Nations? Is that what they''re after? They recognize that someone is inevitably going to fill the role of "the world''s policeman," and they want that someone to be the hopelessly corrupt and blatantly anti-American United Nations? - Reply to this comment
- Like it or not, some nation or some entity is going to assume the role of enforcing its version of a world view on the rest of us. Nature abhors a vacuum, and the intensity with which political nature abhors a power vacuum is something to behold. There has never in the history of civilization been any society where someone or something did not dominate and rule, sometimes benignly, often not, over the others. Where this is true for societies and cultural enclaves, it is doubly true for the community of nations.
Throughout the history of the world there has always been one nation-state that dominated world affairs. Again, sometimes benignly, sometimes not. This world has been blessed for the past 100+ years by the fact that the dominate nation, the big dog, the 800-pound gorilla has been the United States. There were options. Nazi Germany comes to mind, or the Japanese Empire. Then, of course, there was Soviet Union and its determination to bring about one world living under communism. - Reply to this comment
- What a bunch of whiny, sniveling America-haters. If you can''t tell the difference between us and them, you must be one of them. Did you ever stop to think that the reason the policies you push don''t get anywhere is because they are idiotic? This is the greatest, most powerful, most prosperous nation in the history of mankind, and will be until the liberals dumb us down into a bunch of mulitcultural, koombayah panty-wastes. America is protecting its strategic interests - don''t count on the libs to do it. We have shown more than reasonable restraint with Armidinijad. There is only so many times you can nicely ask "stop killing our troops". I hope we unleash hell on him, for all of our soldiers that have been killed by his IEDs and Quds forces, and take out Syria at the same time. The commies and the islamists only know force and only force will destroy them. The left would try to negotiate with the devil himself.

- Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. God gave us the road he wanted us to travel...but we instead keep erecting new Towers of Babel in his name''s sake.

- A headline such as: "Hostile" Iran Sparks U.S. Attack Plan" is sure to bring out the pro-Obama Marxists who delight in using terms such as "American hegemony" and "decadent Americans."
"Columbia" was commonly understood as a poetic name for the United States of America. These song lyrics were written in 1843 over 160 years ago and are still true and valid today:
O Columbia! the gem of the ocean,
The home of the brave and the free,
The shrine of each patriot''''s devotion,
A world offers homage to thee;
Thy mandates make heroes assemble,
When Liberty''''s form stands in view;
Thy banners make tyranny tremble,
When borne by the red, white, and blue...
You Marxist traitors make most Americans sick to their stomach when you surface from under your rock.
