Oh, and this tax defferal is being funded by foreign countries. So, instead of being afraid of illegal immigrants, you might want to be afraid of the foreign countries who have lent us money because we''re stupid enough to give ourselves tax cuts at the same time we''re increasing spending to fund never-ending wars. If these foreign countries start asking for their money back, we are in big trouble. But, selling your soul to a foreign entity is fine as long as it comes with a tax cut.

drivelphobe,

These are your words, not mine. Your the one stuck with an inferority complex (your desire to join a country club might have something to do with your need to be accepted). So, just be aware of it. Not my words and your words are not my responsibility.

Yes, and the lower dollar is also increasing food prices. Food prices have increased and a main contributor IS COMING FROM THE BUSH REGIME:

SUBSIDIES - The goverment decided to provide bigger subsidies to corn growers (for ethanol), so many farmers are converting wheat crops to corn crops. And, that corn is being burned instead of feeding people. This also decreases the supply of other commodities which also drives up prices.

whatithink......

"I did fine during the Clinton years" and "some snobs at a country club". This says it all about you. As jamesm12341 stated, " jealous of successful people".

"I did fine"= I am barely getting by.

"Some snobs at a country club"= I am unable to relate to people and have an inferiority complex.

"I don''t need those things"= I can''t afford them.

Perhaps you and your employees will soon be eligible for the Food Stamp program.

Thanks for your meaningful and appropriate comments. Have a nice life.

sblake63,

Have you heard of this thing called The War on Terror? It''s the most important war we''ve ever fought, supposedly. Yet, this is the FIRST TIME ever that our government has cut taxes at the same time they declared war. Do you not get why the dollar is devalued? You need the tax cut now just to break even because a lower dollar means higher inflation. End result, you have gained nothing.

Have you heard of this thing called a FISCAL DEFICIT?
This means you have not received a tax cut, you''ve received a tax deferral. Or maybe you prefer that your grandchildren will have to pay the taxes (with interest) that you were too selfish to pay.

I don''''''''t need those things. My reward is running a socially responsible business. And, I did fine during the Clinton years. I''''''''ve seen kids that I''''''''ve tutored go on to finish college or trade schools, all the first in their families. That''''''''s more reward than money can buy and definitely better than being around some snobs at a country club.

I was lucky enough to have worked for a few people like you early in life. Their compassionate concern for another person, and help in developing my skills have made me a contributing member of society.

That is the point of view that makes the current political mafia running the U.S. so disgusting. The society that has been fostered under the 7 year Republican Coupe is not healthy for the US citizens, children or the world.

And all the Corporate Pirates and Republican Mafia will retire to their ranches in 2009 for endless BBQ and cocktails.

And I am ohhhh so touched how you were raised by the "compassionate ones". Good for you, but keep your hands OUT of my pocket books.

The Bush tax cuts are to stay. Face it!
