Mercury has only been "removed" from childhood vaccinations for about 18 months. This is voluntary compliance, and many drug companies are choosing to use up there old stores of tainted vaccinations before creating the mercury free shots. Also, they are still using it in other vaccinations, like the annual flu shots.
Plus you cant diagnose a case of autism until the child is approx 2-3 years old.
Do the math. That''s why you haven''t seen a significant drop in case yet. - Reply to this comment
- Just add to my last response, those who insult me (or anyone for that matter) are automatically intellectually inferior to me. If you want to prove that you are intellectually superior (intellectually aka being smarter, for those who have a limited vocabulary) to me, prove it in a civilized manner.

My Response: Get a life. I come to this chat board to have an intelectual debate, not to hurl insults at each other. Those that insult each other really should stay in grade school. They wont get much farther than that mentality. For the record, i may not be an expert( nor am i claiming to be one)as i do have a college education, and those who are eduacated tend to me more informed with facts about a wide range of topics instead of what the liberal media spews out and wants us to belive. - Reply to this comment

- dbtmellis, try telling that to the thousands of mothers who had normal healthy children who were progressing normally, speaking well for their age until their second immunization..

All I can say is that in all the schools that my husband has taught or been Principal of here in Australia and NZ for the past 40 years, he never came across this problem until a few years ago and as Principal he would hear of any problem children at home if there were any..and If it was **genetic.** then out of the thousands of children that my husband has taught or been in contact with, this would have shown up in some families.
Mercury is a cumulative heavy metal poison and with sufficient exposure all mercury-based toxins damage the central nervous system and other organs or organ systems such as the liver or gastrointestinal tract.

- prairiemom1, I totally agree with you, we are being sold a pup, a pup which makes trillions a month for the pharmaceutical companies who put the fear of death into vulnerable new or young mothers by telling them that some children die of these diseases, (and a few children with very low immune systems do died).
These diseases which were once considered to be mild child hood diseases are now called killer diseases, but when hundreds of children die every year from vaccinations, we dont hear pharmaceutical companies calling their vaccinations killer vaccines.. strange that eh.. - Reply to this comment

It seems to me that a game of musical chairs might have gone around in the medical field in the past 25-30 years, as cases of mental retardation today is almost unheard of, as was Austism was unheard of years ago.

- It seems like everytime we turn around they come up with a new vaccine. Since when was chickenpox a epidemic problem? Rotovirus? My generation didn''t get that vac, my goodness, how did we ever survive? But wait, we didn''t get chicken pox vac either and we all survived that too. The Hep B vac? Since when have you seen a baby working in a healthcare situation where they might be stuck with an infected needle? When did you last hear of a baby having mutliple *** partners. Unless they are born to a Hep B positive mother, babies are not at risk for this disease, why vaccinate them for something they aren''t at risk for? Back when I was child, 3 DPTs were considered enough. Why now does it take 5?
I also hear alot of people talking about small pox. News flash, people haven''t been routinely vaccinated for small pox in about 30 years.
