I used to be a Clinton supporter but the way she has run her campaign has shown me how she would run her white house. I am now for Obama and will vote for McCain if the super Delegates overturn what the people what voted for.

Its not fair but typical Clinton Politics

trapbreak,

For starters the convention is in July.

Secondly, I know the thought of the Democrats
repeating the Chicago Convention is something
that gives both you and Bill Clinton an erection,
but you''ll need lots of Cialis to keep it up once reality kicks in.

alan,

Don''t get me wrong, I know ther will be plenty of these guys/gals who will be swayed but her strategy requires something like a 90% swing of the super delegates on top of sweeping texas, Ohio, & Pennsylvania.

Some of these supers will trade their votes for everything from an earmark in Congess to an evening with one of Monica''s friends. Others will be threatened with having their kneecaps broken.

I used to work with a guy who was an uncommitted delegate to the 1960 Dem Convention. He told me that
a federal judge asked him to vote for Kennedy and when he wouldn''t commit he asked him if his kids went to the Everett schools. which he confirmed. The Judge said"wouldn''t it be a shame if that all came to an end". I just don''t see that working 700 out of 700 times.

Those of us with teenagers got a hilarious reminder of the Clinton scandals of the 1990s this weekend while watching the new movie, "Definitely, Maybe."

It takes Bill Clinton apart in a way that John McCain and the Republicans could only wish they could.

It is a must see for all those who want to innoculate their teenagers from the impact of future "Bimbo" irruptions, fits of lying and other attractions sure to come our way with another Clinton presidency.

That''''s what is most likely to happen at the Convention.

America wants to know: where''''s the media coverage on this???? We deserve to hear the truth!

Simmer down, little guy. Do you know how many crackpots are going around claiming to have dirt on a politician? The media won''t report it because they can''t confirm it, but rest assured, republicans will eventually swift boat this one out for you!

alanrobisch,

Neither Hillary or Obama will receive the lion''s share of the super delegate vote unless they have the most votes at the end of the Primaries.

The Super delegates know that their votes will become public when they''re cast at the Convention and they will be part of state Delegations and most of them will ultimately reflect the will of the voter watching back home, particularly the ones who have to run for re-election.

The media will be pigeon-holing these guys on the Convention floor and asking for explanations for their votes. If you were them would you want to have to explain going against the popular vote.

Whoever doesn''t have the most pledged/elected delegates at the end of the Primaries/caucuses would have to convince virtually all of the super delegates to participate in that kind of power play-it won''t happen.

On the other hand, if one of them leads but doesn''t have enough pledged delegates to win on the 1st ballot it would be much easier to justify providing the votes to put the popular winner over the top.

That''s what is most likely to happen at the Convention.

pilgrimsway,

Can you point to any statements by Obama or anyone around him that would buttress your claims? To the contrary, Obama has called for increasing funding for public health care, public education, job creation, unemployment insurance, and job training.

Actually, the President you''re talking about is George Bush who has slashed funding for public health care, public education, job creation, unemployment insurance, job training, and public safety(community policing)for Americans in order to provide all those same services to the citizens of Iraq.

President Bush provides foreign aid in the forms of grants that will never be paid back; Obama has called for providing much of the foreign aid in the form of loans that will be repaid.

Your assertions are not based in fact.

The votes of the superdelegates should be public. Sunlight is always the best disinfectant. Those who want to thwart the will of the people should be allowed to do so..... and reap the consequences.

+ report

If Hillary gets nominated this way by the back door the dems will have a mess. I can''t say I''m extremely sad since I back McCain but I would much prefer to see Obama president rather than Hillary if not McCain.

I never said anything about Obamas father. Maybe you got me confused with someone else? I said , if I remember right that Obamas intention would be to increase, more than any other prez, foreign aid to other countries. This take the money away from us. Away from the homelesss away from the jobless away fro the disabled and gives it to others in other countries. This is His own idealogy on this take. This is not me making this up!

I never said anything about color or race. I said your comments were bigoted, because of your assumptions that Obamas father is a foreigner, which means that Obama would increase foreign aid to ''Third World'' countries and ignore the problems of the poor in the U.S. Your comments were meant to appeal to the readers who champion xenophobia.

Why do you associate statements with color? maybe you are color blind? Your not white are you? You only, from what you shared , want to see what you want to see! This is the most worst kind of prejudice to be seen!

Im not loyal to my own social group,I do not even have one. I was never irrationally intolerant or disdainful of Mcain, Obama, Hillary or Huckabee. A bigot is a prejudiced person who is intolerant of opinions I never slanted or was intolerant of your opinions or anyone else''s, lifestyles, or identities differing from his or her own. So I think chitown639 is a bigot

Perhaps you should check the facts, because your whole argument is based on assumptions, not facts. I am going to save you a trip to the dictionary and give you a difinition of the word bigot. Bigot-One strongly loyal to one''s own social group, and irrationally intolerant or disdainful of others. A bigot is a prejudiced person who is intolerant of opinions, lifestyles, or identities differing from his or her own. Pilgrimsway is a bigot.

Obama returned all the monies that were received from Tony Rezko.

Hillary returned all the monies that were received from Norman Hsu.

This pretty much happens in every election, donations are received from people who later, are found to be unsavory, power hungry people trying to buy influence.

Both Rezko and Hsu have been indicted for various illegal mattersz.

This is beyond belief if He was to be elected by people who need the help themselves in which they do not understand that He will give their help away to someone in another country!

This is a typical bigoted and xenophobian perspective. The logic is that since Obamas father was born in Kenya, as President, Obama would give a greater amount of foreign aid to ''Third World'' countries. This is nonsense. There is no evidence that a President Obama would increase U.S. foreign aid from the O.17% of the U.S. Gross National Income, which is second to last among industrialized nations. We should all be prepared for all of the fear mongering that has already surfaced this election cycle....
