Dear Conservative Republicans,
Your party is gone. Just say baa and follow Mitt and Gary over to McCains place to kiss and make up with the abortion funding, illegal amnesty granting,
borrow and spend old man. John needs your help to make sure the Halliburton children don''t fall on hard times for the next hundred years or so.

Hey - Republican Conservatives.
Guess your party showed you the real values among Republicans - nominate the candidate who is most likely to keep the gravy train going for Halliburton & Blackwater & their corporate ilk.
Kick the fiscal & social conservatives in the teeth and nominate a candidate who might get enough crossover votes to make it close.
After all - you guys are going to support the "R" candidate no matter what. Why bother giving you a nominee who shares your ideals?

What a sad state for consevatives in the Republican Party.
The Democrats are down to a pair of articulate, intelligent, progressive candidates.
The Republicans, in an effort to distance the party from the train wreck of the Bush administration is going to nominate a progressive candidate.
Except that he is angry, abusive, old and married to the two most disastrous Bush policies - Eternal War and Borrow & Spend.

Hey Republican Conservatives - how does it feel to be supporting a candidate who co-sponsored and argued diligently for the Bingaman-McCain Immigrant Health Care Bill to allow taxpaying US citizens to pick up the bill for health care for illegal immigrants?

RowdyTexan2,

Justice Oliver Wendell Holmes put it another way, " You don''t have the Constitutional right to yell fire in a crowded theater."

That''s common sense regulation; the right to bear arms needs to be weighed against the rights of the rest of the society to public safety.

Limiting the right of a mental patient to buy a semi-automatic weapon on the internet, for example, is not comparable to a hunter having shotguns for hunting or a homeowner having one for protection. Only an idiot can not distinguish between a weapon designed for sport or protection and one designed for mass killing. All rights are subject to common sense.

Why is this article still even here? Michelle Obama can''t even keep her stories straight. First their first date was at church, then a restaurant! For pete''s sakes, who cares!

To roxy000;

DId you look at the story in the Chicago Tribune Oct. 2007? She said he swept her off her feet. But, another story said they were at a company dinner party and he touched her leg under the table. Isn''t that like sexual harrassment???

To Herbiemax;
Try looking at chicagotribune.com or chicagosuntimes.com

There is much to say about Obama, Rezko link. Also, the Rezko trial will start in the first week of March 3, so keep an eye/ear out for it.

Just this morning...

"Asked to elaborate on his understanding of what the second amendment actually means, Obama said that he does believe the second amendment "speaks to an individual''s right." But he said that right could be "subject to common-sense regulation just like most of our rights are subject to common-sense regulation. So I think there''s a lot of room before you [sic] bumping against a constitutional barrier for us to institute some of the common-sense gun laws."

Common-sense gun laws? That a municipality has the right to override our Constitutional right to own guns? No, thank you very much! Next he will be saying our Constitution is just a GD piece of paper, does that sound familiar???

Soooooo far from the truth. Barack Obama has never served an in an elective position in Chicago. He could not have voted for ANY Chicago municipal laws. He was a representative in Illinois FROM Chicago. The state of Illinois, whose laws Obama helped write, does not even require registration of handguns.

Whatta laugh! John McCain kicks puppies and pokes small children in the eyes with sharp sticks. Look it up. I have. No less a lie than many of the postings in this forum.

You can understand why Republican defenders are waging their Rove Rant campaign.

That is an outright lie!! He supported, voted, and help pass a law in Chicago that makes in a felony crime to defend your home, wife and children with a handgun.

Look it up. I have. Weather you agree with the 2nd amendment or not it''s important to know the man is a chronic habitual lier in his statement above!!

Four more years of the disastrous Bush / Cheney Eternal War - Borrow & Spend philosophy?

It is impossible to defend policies that have led our nation from sound economic footing to multi-generational federal debt and spiralling prices for food and energy.

You can understand why Republican defenders are waging their Rove Rant campaign.

We know by the charisma who said this!

It is also in my view false to say that life in AMERICA today is solely determined by considerations of foreign policy, that the primacy of foreign policy governs today the whole of our domestic life. Certainly people can reach the point when foreign relations influence and determine completely its domestic life. But let no one say that such a CONDITION is from the first either natural or desirable. Rather the important thing is that people should CREATE the conditions for CHANGE in this state of affairs.

Obama is not only incompetent, he flat out lies! And Michelle Obama is a disgrace to her race. Her speech made out like they are still backwards, and need someone to tell them it''s ok to have a black president. Now how ignorant is that!

Why is no one questioning Obama on anything? He has brought up his Chicago Political roots, but I can''t find anything of any depth about the dirty politics of Chicago in any news articles,or on TV. We do know that a lot of strange things happened in the runup of all his past elections.(as far as what happened to the people running against him) We know that when HRC mentioned Rezko in one of the debates the next morning one of the tv networks had a picture of Hillary and Bill with Rezko, and I know it was a picture taken at a fundraiser for Obama''s Senate campaign,(paid for by Rezko and funds went to Obama) but no one wrote of or talked about this.Why?
