- The only solution is to cut off welfare benefits and take the kids from her home. And fix girls and guys who produce two "unplanned children" that require public assistance.

..............
Clearly, an approach like you mentioned is needed. Some type of punishment is needed!
But sadly, any kind of restrictions on the ability to procreate would be given the standard ignorant labels of "fascist", "authoritarian", "tyranny", etc.
It''s sad to say, but many have not woken up to the fact that the over-population of this planet is the root cause of so many problems we face today. And that over-population is mostly due to irresponsible (and in some cases, rewarded) procreation...

OK, finally, we agree! If a young person makes a mistake and mother''s a child, and does not have a family to help feed that child, then yes, I believe in offering assistance that person until they are prepared enough to suppport it. After that, you''re on your own! No more housing assistance, no more food stamps, no more paying your electric bill, no more supplemental income. Time to grow up, get to work and take care of yourself and the child. - Reply to this comment
- If they would support the effective teaching of abstinence PREFERENCE with contraception information then most Americans would support it. However, their real agenda is to force their puritan religious ideology on America. Americans have had enough of these freaks, as we now see. Of course they will continue to try to force the rest of us to submit to their radical intolerant Christian Taliban rules to the detriment of America. f''''em.

You sound EXACTLY like the folks used to sound in the 50''s. Course back then they blamed it on Music, Clothes... come to think of it they used the same tired lines you use. Didn''t stop us then and it won''t stop them now. You can take ALL the *** off TV, burn EVERY CD and Kids are still going to experiment. It''s the nature of a Human. It''s time the Religious Reich got out of the business of Sexx Education and left it to the PRO''s. - Reply to this comment

Ok, sorry, misquoted. One nation under God is part of our pledge of allegiance NOW! And if a person wants to say it, they should be able to. If they don''t want to say that, leave it out. And yes, if you are going to be a citizen of the United States, you should pledge allegiance to it with conviction! Otherwise, get the hell out!
In all the years I was a student, not one teacher EVER tried to effect religion at me. Nor for the years that I was a teacher did I try to influence a child''s religion. That too is a farce promoted by bigots and ignorance. - Reply to this comment

I have already stated that children should be taught the responsibility of ***, and respect for themselves at home. I have no disagreement with that.
I just disagree that the feminist movement is not the place to put blame. But when men start to point fingers, that''s always where the fault lies.

- The church don''t have the answer. I was not raised in church. I was taught right from wrong. Yer turn on the TV they shove sexx in our faces. Drug for E.D. My room mate has E.D. So what. He is loved as a person. We as a nation place too much on sexx.Women half dressed. Sexx is needed for the human race. Are we sending the wrong messages to them. Is it right to force a femele to bear children that she can''t care for. Is is right to groom a girl for one thing marriage/having babies. Is it right the schools put girls on birth control. Is it right they are seen as sexx items. Is it right girls wear haft nasty clothes to trap a boy/male..

- We are all just members of the human race nothing more, nothing less. Man cannot change what nature has spent 10 million years creating. Morality is dictated by people over the age of forty five. The same people who use Viagra.

- I am a firm believer in separation of church and state. And I don''t think our leaders should be judged at all on their religion or lack thereof.
But I don''t believe the ''state'' has the right to legislate religion out of a person''s life.
If a group of kids of like minds want to say a prayer at school, they should be able to. It doesn''t hurt another student one bit.
And I am a firm believer of teaching children that if they are going to be a citizen of the US that they need to pledge allegiance to it, and mean it!
Our pledge of allegiance has "In God we trust" in it. If a child doesn''t want to say that part, then don''t say it, nobody cares if you do or don''t. But if you want to say it, you should be able to! Out loud and with conviction without fear of breaking the law!
It is narrow-mindedness, pettiness and ignorance that creates chaos in a system, not a person''s religion or lack thereof! - Reply to this comment
- The "fourth R" (Reproductive education) is definitely needed in Middle Schools around the country.
Children born by "mistake" are not given nearly as much care and nurturing, needed to grow into becoming productive adults, as some of their peers born from a traditional (married) couple. Previous statistics/surveys have proven this. - Reply to this comment

You are wrong. The NEA is a Union that backs the Democratic party. Not to say all teachers or all schools are liberal. - Reply to this comment
- hy were women that were preyed on by men shuttled off to a dark part of society called scarlet women, ******, and prostitues? And the men who participated very lustily in that process lauded as just real he men?
W ****** aren''t preyed on, they get paid for their services. I would hope that you would expect women to have self respect. We aren''t raising a population of w ******, we are raising a population of young girls that are being taught it is ok to have s*x, cause they are going to do it anyway, and while we are at it, here is a prescription for birth control pills and a packet of condoms, but, not to worry, if you should forget to take the pill or the condom breaks, you can have a abortion. But wait, theres more. If you don''t want the abortion, you can go on welfare and the State will support you. - Reply to this comment

- The feminist movement had NOTHING to do with children, or teaching children their own self worth, and respect for themselves.
It was about being treated equal! - Reply to this comment

I don''t believe in a one size fits all God. I am a Christian that wouldn''t consider voting for Huckabee, nor would I not vote for someone just because he doesn''t share my belief in God. All I know is that trillions and trillions of dollars has been fed to the public education system (which is run by liberals) and where has it gotten us? How well are our public schools doing today? Maybe if we focused on teaching History, Math, Reading etc. and quit using the schools as a huge propaganda machine we would be better off. - Reply to this comment
- Society taught abstinence by referring to promiscuoous women as ******* and illegitimate babies as ***...
Yes, Tucker, but they left something out! The MEN that slept with the ******* were just stand up gents! Why didn''t they pin a scarlet letter on the guy too? Why didn''t he have to wear a sign that said ***-mongerer?
Why were women that were preyed on by men shuttled off to a dark part of society called scarlet women, *******, and prostitues? And the men who participated very lustily in that process lauded as just real he men?
THAT''S the reason for the feminist movement. Men always forget that part! Women have just flat out refused to become ******* anymore! You wanna have ***? Then we''re equal partners, and I can count coup and hold up my head just like you can. If I''m gonna be a ***, then by God, you''re a ***-mongerer! - Reply to this comment
