Hey FloydZepp - are you a fool ! : we could do whatever we could back then. We didn''''t have your media yapping at everything we did during WW2. Now, if WW2 was on, your favorite CNN would have Anderson Cooper reporting from the normandy beach and saying "oh, my god, these terrible armericans are killing people. What a sight that would be. A different time than now stupid !

You really should take a night course in AMERICAN HISTORY there sparky! When FDR attempted to help England out with Hitler he was ATTACKED by the Press and the Right almost non stop!! Sure they didn''t have the AMOUNT of news coverage we do today but still. After the War started to, FDR made sure all the bodies were seen by American''s and HE never went off attacking any nation that WAS NOT a threat to us. Now add that to the FACT that he allied himself WITH the Commies against Hitler and there you have it. Sieg Heil Bush!!

LOL That''s all the 60''s were to you? Sad...very sad indeed. We, the 60''s Generation changed the world, there is no doubt of that. When you look at the differences we made today, the things that are just accepted as normal today, it just boggles the mind. But to be so small minded and bitter that all you can come up with is this? Sad, very sad! Sieg Heil Bush!

Ummmm?? Are you talking about the people that Sir Lies-A-Lot told us weren''t important when he went after the oil in Iraq? It''s not like we don''t know they are dangerous Sparky, they attacked THIS nation. In fact those folks you constantly attack, your neighbors you call "Liberals", have been screaming to the top of their lungs about this since the FIRST day Bush left the fight with them and went off to Iraq. You MUST keep up here! Sieg Heil Bush!!

Very True! It takes COURAGE to be American and it takes COURAGE to stay free. Being AFRAID is what these people are all about. I remember as a young student, getting on a bus bound for Alabama during the 60''s. Fear was there yes but LOVE for my Country and it''s FREEDOMS was much more important. We can give up ALL our freedoms and still not be safe. We can be safe and retain all our freedoms. The choice is ours and ours alone.

MCVet, good point. I thought the Shrub wasn''''t gonna rest until he caught or killed Bin Laden? The Shrub doesn''''t think he''''s important now. Does this mean the mean old terrorists went away? Was the Mission Accomplished? Heard yet another car bomb went off in Iraq today. Is Freedom on the March? - particularly in Pakistan where there''''s an Evil Dictator with stockpiles of WMD that the Shrub loves.....?

Floyd, I''d say you pretty much have come to the same conclusion most of us have. We were sold a lot of Snake Oil buy a master of such things, Carl Rove. We should have know better taken what people like Pat Robertson and Jerry Falwell have done, the snake oil they sell people every day. IF we do not get back to OUR government, a government we grew up with, where we didn''t hate each other because we voted for a "Liberal" or a "Conservative", we can not survive. The folks who NOW control the Republican Party do NOT think like we do. They still haven''t gotten over the Civil Rights Act nor the Civil War for that matter. It''s all about THEIR ability to rule over the country PERIOD!

What democracy? They are ruled by a dictator, who just put a destroyed their Constitution, put a sham court into office and had them under martial law. Bhuttos death does not threaten what Pakistan never had--it only confirms the stakes for Musharref and the lengths he is prepared to go to in order to keep power.

Nice touch--shooting her then bombing her. Too bad this was novel to suicide bombing as they would never snipe then bomb--since the element of surprise would be lost from the gunfire and there would be less of an impact with the bomb. Seems like they shot her to make sure that this time, she would not escape the effects of the bombing like she did a few months ago. So shoot first, then bomb her and finally have someone claim it for Al Qaeda. But it was not Al Qaeda that gained the most from her death it was Musharref. He would have lost the election and the US if she was allowed to live.
