"On every question of construction [of the Constitution] let us carry ourselves back to the time when the Constitution was adopted, recollect the spirit manifested in the debates, and instead of trying what meaning may be squeezed out of the text, or intended against it, conform to the probable one in which it was passed."

Thomas Jefferson (1743-1826)

letter to Judge William Johnson

(from Monticello, June 12, 1823)

I hope when people go to the polls to vote, they vote for the person that represents them best Personally, I am voting for my liberty, freedom, our Constitution, a humble foreign policy that DOES NOT include policing or financing other nations, keeping more of my paycheck by getting rid of the IRS, repealing the so called Patriot Act that actually takes liberty and privacy away from our citizens, bringing our American soldiers home to their country immediately where they are needed and wanted most by their fellow countrymen/women and their families. Ron Paul is the only candidate that represents these views, and he will be the best President for our country''s future. Ron Paul has my vote and support. His message of Liberty and Freedom cannot be denied.

Ron Paul rocks!
Individual freedom rocks!
The Constitution rocks!
Our country has slowly become what it once fought against and it is disgusting. Even our money has become something that others what accept because it is such a farce. Something needs to be done and seems that Ron Paul is the only candidate that is will to go against the media driven politics and go back to a constitution driven county.

You know, one of the things a "Paultard" like me appreciates what our founding fathers did for us is condense their wisdom into small and easy to understand sentences in a way you can''t miss the true meanings. They treated us as a good father would and should in this regard. I think that they understood from their own historical recollections of how bald face lies can be hidden by grossly inflating the amount of words just to say the same thing. This causes a greater amount of "loopholes" for the crafty of heart to hide in. If you think about it for a second,......could that be why all of these Bills that Congress passes are so large that it is impossible with the amount of time given to comprehend the true meanings get made into law?

The amount of pages of posts is enough to make me see that my support of Ron Paul is worthy.

I dont find it ''suprising'' at all. Anyone who has taken REAL TIME to evaluate the candidates, and what has been REALLY going on within our gov''t for the past 30-40 years, would realize that while the American People are going broke, the Gov''t and those in the privledged loops are getting richer. Most everything is ''outsourced'' China owns us, they have our debt, our jobs, our $. What they arent getting, the illegals are. Our Gov''t has allowed Corp America to price us completely out of competition, floating only on the Insurance Industry. Its a huge vicious circle, that leaves the rest of America jobless, homeless, and broke. He is the ONLY one who recognizes that the Constitution is what we ar supposed to be living from, not a bunch of law makers who only want to tax us to death, to cover there unwarranted spending. Gov''t was formed to ENFORCE THE CONSTITUTION AND INTERPRET OUR LAWS. Not to change them to screw over the people.

When a candidates voting record compliments the Constitution by obeying its limitations according to what it actually "SAYS", that is the candidate who is indeed a true "American centrist". On the other hand, if a candidates voting record disparages the Constitution by disobeying the 9th. Amendment with an allegorical interpretation of it, that is where the Neolibs and the Neocons dwell ideologically in varying degrees.........Check out your favorite candidates voting record and see for yourself!
