As Mayor, Rudy abused his position. First, the press reports that after 9/11, there were occasions when he could not be found. He was with Ms. Nathan in LI. Second, even if he needed security, visiting his mistress is not in the line of duty. All related expenses should have been assumed by him personally. Third, when he says these costs were reimbursed - were they reimbursed by him or the NYC? Next, today another story has surfaced where Ms. Nathan was assigned a City car complete with driver and she was not even a city employee. Finally, when the City Comptroller tried to do his job and audit these expenses, he was told that he could not have access to the records.

Rudy is smart. He figured out a way to cheat on his wife and have a mistress and have the NYC taxpaper pay for all of it. As a Democrat, I desperately hope he gets to be the GOP nominee. Our guy/gal would have a field day with him.
