I was checked for explosive shoes on my last flight down side of long hair and being big but had no problem with guys doing their job. The funny thing is they only checked guys bigger than average the guy was Spanish I found it troubling they were only looking at the desperados I think these idiots would be a little more clever than that.

Links to FOX news and Popular Mechanics not the most reliable sources of factual information, but read them all anyway accept one which was an invalid link.(have seen them ALL before though)

628,OO0 pages pulled via Google reported information on one of the links in your comment returned by inserting 9/11 conspiricay as a search term, actually I just did that and it pulled 1,960,000 pages.

The US aministration can easily make all that information 100% as a most ''''outrageous conspiracy'''' against the official 9/11 report of that day at a stroke. RELEASE THE VIDEOS OF THE BOEING 757 HITTING THE PENTAGON, and at the least explain why the FBI so quickly and efficiently seized every recording from every camera at the site of the alledged incident.

If they have nothing to hide then let''''s SEE FOR OURSELVES.

They wont, so what does that tell you?

Is that not a most reasonable request, I certainly think so, why on earth and for what reason would they not show them?

(AP) Yemen has set free one of the al Qaeda masterminds of the USS Cole bombing in 2000 that killed 17 American sailors, a senior security official said Thursday.

Jamal al-Badawi, who is wanted by the FBI, was convicted in 2004 of plotting, preparing and helping carry out the USS Cole bombing and received a death sentence that was commuted to 15 years in prison.

He and 22 others, mostly al Qaeda fighters, escaped from prison in 2004. But al-Badawi was granted his freedom after turning himself in 15 days ago and pledging loyalty to Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh, said the official, speaking on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to speak to the media.

The official said police were told by the government to "stop all previous orders concerning measures adopted against al-Badawi."

Witnesses told The Associated Press that al-Badawi was receiving well-wishers at his home in the al-Buraika district in Aden.

The Interior Ministry said earlier that al-Badawi voluntarily gave himself up to police, but media reports said tribal chiefs mediated his surrender after he renounced terrorism and pledged allegiance to the Yemeni leader.

It was traced to a scientist that worked for the military; but that was forgotten. Just like it was forgotten that a member of ISI, pakistani intelligence, was originally the person found to be the source of 9-11. But they have forgotten this, just as they have forgotten Hersch''''s story in the New Yorker, which states the US gave money to alqaida to fight the shiites (the Redirection, is its name). I wonder why?

Yes, but here in the West it''s no longer tolerated, and not allowed, here in the UK there''s been some high profile cases of Islamic/Muslim/Clerics being jailed for inciting religious intolerance, in one case even being kicked out if the UK. Finding the right balance is right and proper of course.

You quoted some cool things which are worthy of us in the future time of these past events to read and make part of us.

Which is WISDOM.

Notice I never mentioned religion, and that''s where we have to start, if you let any religious doctrine determine the outcome then it will never work, it''s like a comment I read earlier about Condoleezza Rice, and the statement put out today from US to Iran, basically there''s no talking, do as we say or else period. No room for negotiation. Most important thing in this world is peace and stability, food/shelter/water/healthcare/education for ALL of mankind. None of that can be achieved if we let religious differences get in the way, all religion needs to be set on the back burner as it were and sort out the important things, yes ?

Extremists are a minority, so we let a handful of nutters, affect all of mankind, NO we don''t and should not, can we agree on that ? If so then there''s no reason that anyone from anywhere on this planet can find a way to achieve the most important things first.

Yes I do as the English treated the Welsh as sub human nearly, they raped our country of it''s natural recources (mainily coal) and buggered off and left illness, poverty, unemploment and scars on this most beautiful land that will take hundreds of years to heal.

Unlike the IRA (Northern Ireland), we didn''t bomb our way to the negotiating table and today we have our own parliament, and we''re well on the way to self rule, ok we had to burn down many a Welsh cottage (owned as holiday homes by the English) along the way, but we''re getting there. The same should and can be done with any nation on this planet, well with the exeption of Israel of course.

Getting back to the point yes I do understand where you''re coming from, it''s how one goes about sorting out the differences is the sticking point, but we can find a way. Invading Iraq and a probable forgone conclusion that Iran qill be attacked by the US is NOT the way to achieve peace and stability.

PS The US hasn''t actually gone out of it''s way to be friendly to a lot of nations, you wonder why perhaps they target the US. If your country gave my little country here (Wales), an unjust ultimatum I would not like it either. You know for a long time we fought against the English, as did the Irish and Scots, we know all about that here within this most Un-United of Kingdoms lol :) Perhaps living here as given me/us an insight into the world outside because I/we already know what it''s like to be invaded and be told what we can and cannot do in our own countries. And it''s not cool. The English are disliked intensely by certain factions within the UK, and in certain parts of the world they are disliked (France springs to mind, the''ll never forget Waterloo lol), but when travelling the world, the feedback I have got about the US, well I felt safer in many places with a UK passport.
