Gee Greta--you obviously haven''t seen what we''re talking about---The heaviest populations are Calif, Texas and Fl, go live in one of those states and have one of them try to insult you because you don;''t speak spanish!!!

SHIP THEM ALL BACK!!

My family came here LEGALLY, LEARNED ENGLISH worked and became productive, proud Americans. There were no food stamps, welfare--no free anything--they did what they had to.

People who want a good education and a better live, come here legally, learn english, work and become citizens. Thats the American way!

Perhaps it varies from state to state, but in California, and under federal law, illegal immigrants receive no governmental money for anything. Nada. The only thing they could ever use for free is a public hospital. By federal law, no public hospital can turn anyone anway.

So, those of you who think illegal immigrants get foodstamps or some kind of government money, you are wrong.

There are dozens of web-sites that give wrong info about illegal immigrants. If you want the truth, go to the official governmennt sites.

I''m sorry, but some of the comments here are really terrible - such nasty sweeping negative statements. We are so lucky to have born American. Yet so much ignorance and so little compassion.

I strongly support thoughtful comprehensive and compassionate immmigration reform. I am especially sympathetic to those who came here as minors who cannot legally work here. I see illegal immigrant children every day. Some of them are so smart, so sweet, and study so hard. They have big dreams. They want to be doctors and lawyers and teachers and have a home and a family. What will happen to them when they learn they cannot work here legally? They are American. They speak only English. What are they going to do?

It''s really so sad, and so many Americans just tell terrible ancedotal stories and pass around BS statistics, and fuel all kind of nasty scary rumors without ever thinking about the human lives involved. Come on Americans. Open your eyes, your minds AND your hearts.

They all need to be deported! They are taking american jobs in the building industry and much more.

They are hired at far less wages than an american would work for (slave labor)--they refuse to learn english, thus enabling them to utilize every free program available.
In Florida they get subsidized housing, even big assistance to buy a house--no english, they get free medical care, food stamps--life in the US is great!

They are not grateful to be here, they don''t wnat the american dream, they want just what they''re getting and everyone is sick of it.

In every state they all "hang" at the same place--we need INS to go to the places they wait for "day jobs" , check their ID;s and ship them back.

Busloads of illegals being shipped back to their home country is cheaper in the long run, than supporting them here.

now I have nothing against the hispanic population when they are legal and law abiding. I am not a predjudice person....but we need to get control of this situation that has already spiraled outta control. At the goverment health dept, a very large population of hispanics are being treated for S.T.D they recieve their treatment and medications free, but refuse to tell workers whom they might have had relations with to halt the spread of S.T.D''S At W.I.C which is Women Infants and Children, they get free milk and cheese, cereal eggs peanut butter formula tuna carrots baby cereal and other misc. stuff. There are so many signs are in spanish workers are mexicans speaking spanish t.v. programs telling about the benefits they recieve are in spanish. WE cater to THEM. I will not even begin with food stamps, tanif, free lunches and breakfasts, La Casa and the new program at Elkhart General Hospital that now caters to them speaking spanish.

Also around here in Indiana it is truning into little Mexico or big Mexico. The signs are all spanish and you have to be fluent in Spanish for jobs. While I can speak spanish I personally found that as I worked in the E.R. as a E.M.T they did speak enough to get by it is just a play sometimes "EE NO ESPEAKIN ENGLISH" My husband whom is in law enforcement tells them when they tell him they can not speak english that they have to wait to bond out then cause they need to find a spanish speaking translator to translate for them, instead of bonding out right now. Guess what 80% of the time they all of a sudden remember english.

I have several true stories, which some may not believe but I know for a fact!! My brother who is a subsitute teacher had a group of rude loud punk kids who he was TRYING to teach social studies to they were 90% mexican, around here the percentage is absolutely overwhelming. Well any way they were rude would not shut up or listen to him and one of the smart mouth students even went on to brag about how they were gonna take New Mexico and Texas back from the Gringos. They have alot of inmates around here alot of em Mexican, drinking driving and drugs and inappropriate actions with minors.

Send them home - all of them. You weren''t invited, you didn''t ask permission to come live in our home, so you are not welcome.

And businesses that hire them - they need to be punished as well.

Personally, I don''t care why they came and I really don''t want to hear their pety excuses. Get OUT. Come legally or not at all. If you need medical care, petion to get a temporary visa. Just don''t come and steal my identity, someone elses id, or forge one.
Be leagal b/c any and all crimes need to be punished.

If you want the unsuppressed news, of costs to taxpayers and not watered down news reports go to these reputable websites. Start with dfwstangs.net/forums/showthread/message 338051. As I cannot enclose any html you will have to type these sites in Google, and hit "Im feeling lucky." Just type in these url addresses and find the cruel truth. AmericanPatrol, JudicialWatch, Unipac, Fairus, ImmigrationCounters, DarkSideofIllegalImmigration. For illegal immigration news not found in the major media, go to LibertyPast and Indexer. You might also go to the (AARP) American Association of Retired People website. They are as mad as hell, and sick and tired of supporting the worlds poor in America

"You may have seen the case of the Guatemalan dish-washer in Florida who showed up with nearly $60,000 in his suitcase on his way back home.
He had worked, as I said, as a dishwasher, for 11 years (probably @ minimum wage) and had managed to save the sum in that time."

"That story is a fake made up plant."
Posted by jowand : Oct 21, 2007

Nope, not a fake. The guy worked for less than minimum wage, but alot of folks can live on minimum if there''s no S.S., Medicare or income tax deducted. If he had paid taxes he could have kept more of his savings in the end. The government offered him $10,000.00 and a ticket home. He refused and is now suing. He claims he didn''t know it was "wrong" to carry $60,000 in cash in a suitcase onto a plane!

What''s next? "No sabma que era ilegal llevar una bomba sobre un aeroplano!" (I didn''t know it was illegal to carry a bomb onto an airplane!)

"Does anyone have any other sensible ideas?" Posted by gretagreen

I''ve seen some excellent ideas here and I''ve seen some of the most useless dribble from a few ignorant ********. Posting nonsence gets us absolutely nowhere; those are the ones who''ve obviously already gotten "nowhere" and don''t plan to advance. Posting a half dozen pages of the same''ole third grade essay is proof that some should be seen and not heard.

Enforcing the laws, The Birthright Citizenship Act of 2007, Rep. Nathan Deal (R-GA), (I call it the "anchor baby syndrome"), enforcing the Social Security No-Match mailings, forcing employers to use the e-Verify system, etc., all would do wonders to rid this country of criminal illegal invaders and the ones who don''t get caught right away would feel the pressure of the citizens and run for the border, which by the way is happening now in towns all over.

Talking good talk gets us nowhere as long as there are politicins benefitting from this invasion.
Solution?
VOTE THEM OUT!!!

I get sick of people saying "I don''t vote. It don''t do no good"!
It does! You saw what happened in June when Seqor Bush (McCain & Kennedy) tried to shove another amnesty down our throats, didn''t you? http://www.numbersusa.com , http://www.fairus.org , http://www.alipac.us

Know the candidates, don''t vote for anyone with a RECORD of voting in favor of illegal invaders no matter what they tell us now!
