Former Massachusetts Governor's Run For The White House Puts Mormon Religion In The Spotlight
- I've known since childhood that there were all these "smiling liars" all over America. But not until the arrogant Bush Administration did I realize that all of these "smiling liars" were Repuglicons. NOw I, and anybody else that has been paying attention realize that all Repuglicons are liars, which seems to be a prerequisite to being a conservative. And these smiling liar's seem to all support Fascism, too. It's no wonder the vast majority of individuals in the world hate American's. Eurpopeans defeated teh fascsits in World War II. NOw they at least see US for what the USA has become: a nation with lots of "smiling liars" that are also braindead fascists.

- I've done research and been disheartened to find out some of the Mormon beliefs because I know some Mormons. On the Mormon statement that they believe in Jesus Christ as their Savior, they define Savior differently than most Christians. When they say they believe the Bible, they believe it only until it contradicts one of their other holy books or their leaders. They want to appear to be more like other Christians in order to gain acceptance. Their goal is to convert the world to the Mormon religion. Don't think it's not. Do some research. This just scratches the surface.

- Mitt Romney is a "solid" candidate. He has "accomplished" more than any other candidate out there in his career so far. 1. Took apart failing companies and put them back to together again...............2. Took the 2002 Salt Lake Olympics games that were 369 million in debt with massive corruption and pulled off one of the most incrediable "turn arounds" three months after 9/11................3. Became Governor of the bluest state in the Union with a projected $3 billion deficit and balanced the budget WITHOUT RAISING TAXES...............4. Brought private health insurance to every citzen in Massachusetts WITHOUT RASIING TAXES..... There simply isn't ANYONE as qualified to run as this man. If our corrupt liberal press wants to "nickpick" and create a "negative" sterotype of this man this so be it. ALL the other candidates running for President "TALK" about what they will do........Mitt Romney has already WALKED THE WALK. He has actually DONE things. Mitt would make a great President for All Americans....

- Fine, LibVet, then why is it that all of your Lib contenders try sooo hard to "Get Religion" every 2-4 years? They don't seem to have it any other time in their life? I'm not a religious guy, I just like people that are real...or as close as you can get with politicians.

- Who cares what religion he is, the fact that he will shove it up our azzes if he gets in office is the real issue. All religions are nothing more than a tool to control the masses. Followed by feable minded people who need their religious crack fix each day so they wont wake up and put a gun to their head, because they can not cope with the reality that life is hard and bad things happen. Religion is a farse....

- Seek Him Randy, and you will find the Truth. You don't have to run from Him your whole life. He is always at your heart's door knocking. All you have to do is open the door and invite Him in.
Have a good night.

Oh and be sure to send your Money to Rev. Pat so he can fight the old devil... buy a new car, build a BIG new house, pay for that inlaws outhouse and maybe get an air conditioned house for the dog! Religion in America is about as big a Fraud as anything to ever be served on us. It's a RIP OFF people. You take away the tax dodge and these people fade away, become nothing but the whiners and complainers they have always been. Sieg Heil and Amen - Reply to this comment
- To tchadden (08:25 PM : Aug 10, 2007):
Mormons don't believe Jesus is their Savior? Look at the name: "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints." "Christ" means SAVIOR. A "Saint" seeks sanctification through the SAVIOR Jesus Christ; %u201CLatter-day%u201D refers to the times that precede the second coming of the glorified, resurrected, SAVIOR Jesus Christ!
Please read just a few random pages in the Book of Mormon. If that is too much to ask, then take a peek at the Bible, in which we also just happen to believe!
Since 1830, the title page of the Book of Mormon has declared its purpose: " . . . to the convincing of the Jew and Gentile that JESUS is the CHRIST, the ETERNAL God, manifesting himself unto all nations."
http://scriptures.lds.org/en/bm/ttlpg
The Book of Mormon testifies of Christians who were sanctified through faith in the SAVIOR Jesus Christ hundreds of years before his coming!
http://scriptures.lds.org/en/jacob/4/4-7#4
Every Sunday I, with millions of other Latter-day Saints around the world, solemnly partake of the emblems of the flesh and blood of our SAVIOR Jesus Christ, promising "to always remember him."
http://scriptures.lds.org/en/moro/4/3#3
I add my own testimony to that of Nephi, son of Lehi: Jesus Christ is indeed my SAVIOR and Redeemer: "I glory in plainness; I glory in truth; I glory in my Jesus, for he hath redeemed my soul from hell."

- A true poll of all eligable voters will show that the vast majority of Americans do not trust any of the candidates from either side, as they are all concerned with getting "their piece" of the corruption pie.

- Mitt Romney will say anything and do anything to get elected.
Ron Paul is the most honest and courageous politician this country has had for a generation. He WILL make america great again. Not voting for him, and the consequences that will follow are too galling to imagine. - Reply to this comment
- I do not concern myself with Romney's religion. There are many different ways of serving God.
My problems are his stances on the Iraq War and illegal immigration. I respect someone that not only talks the talk but walks the walk. On sending people into harm's way, he not only did not serve in Vietnam but his five healthy sons have not spent a day in the Guard and/or active military. On illegal immigrant, he condemns these folks but yet hires them to work on his estate.
I am just waiting to see what other contradictions arise. A while back, Phil Gram of Texas spent millions purusing the GOP nomination but wound up with only one delegate. I want to see how Romney does. - Reply to this comment
- Consensus is impossible with religious nuts because they don't pay attention to their own senses. They are too busy brainwashing their children. It's nearly a hereditary disease like down syndrome. The inability to see facts if they contradict a belief.

I'm tired too ricky. Tired of your lies. I have seen you so many times and places in my life and all I can say is that you'd better start praying to become an atheist, because if there really was a god, then you'll be a roasting in hell for your hypocrisy for certain. Beat your bible all you want to ricky, but deep inside you know that you drive people away from god and Christ, not bring them closer. I pity you for that too. - Reply to this comment
