linjsmit,

Re: "No one hopes for war."

The Bush regime and PNAC extremists did, and they got it. Now they are gunning for Iran.

What could go wrong?

j-whitman, I am ashamed & embarrassed to know that a wife of a military soldier does not support our troops. What a great woman she must be.

Maybe the next election the public will vote for a "more capable" president & he will know all of the right things to say & do & will have 100% support. No one hopes for war, no one wants to see their part of their heart get on a plane to go to Iraq, so maybe the next president will have ALL of the right answers and will be able to please EVERYONE'S opinions. Only one can hope, right? Once again, Thank you to the troops.

linjsmit,,, Just when has Bush given our great troops any opertunity for valor winning successful missions ?????

He hasn't & Won't -- The "Surge & other plans in operation rely on Iraq's who are not adequatly trained or even in the right support numbers we need,
,, Part of this plan rely's on private contrated soldiers (mercinaries) getting paid as much as some of our 2 star generals.

Now if only those Bushies would pay attention too our troops instead of ignoring them, we just might get somewhere.

j-whitman, there is HONOR in the soldiers who are MORE than willing to keep going overseas until the job is done. There is HONOR in the soldiers who may not want to go, but GO without question because that is what their Commander-in-Chief has ordered. There is HONOR in the military families who don't complain that their loved ones have to leave for an unknown period of time to an unfamiliar part of the world only to question if they will even return home or not. There is HONOR when I look at an American flag and know that I am proud to be an American & know that part of MY family and countless others are doing the world good. HONOR the soldiers, that's all I'm asking/saying.

linjsmit -- I did answer,,, Here it is again,

Try listening to the Iraq Study Group, we've started applying some of thier ideas --- Stop using Bush's Failed Plans.

- Don't forget Rudy Guiliani wasn't interested enough in Iraq to attend meetings with the counsel he was a member of. -- Above all jail the idiots who got us into this catastrophe

linjsmit,,, What ever honor is there in lying to the world & America to start a war ???? Then keep lying for years to keep promoting it ??

What honor is there in exposing Covert CIA Agents or shorting our military on anti IED equipment & up todate body armor ?????

What honor is there to let other nations run our foreign policy's ?????

Why can't I buy Levi's made in the USA ??

j-whitman, try answering a "simple" question. I'm curious to know what you think will resolve all of this? Bring all of the troops home & what..? what then?

linjsmit,, Good question, what ever happened to patriotism ?? Too many on both sides only hide behind our flag while doing injustice to our people..

, Then we have those in office who where never patriotic enough to go to Viet Nam or to even compleate thier tour with honor then turn around & abuse our military for politics.
