Let's remember that Osama and his organization are not merely a "street gang". They're a well-funded criminal organization with physicists, chemists, biologists, programmers, cryptographers, and experienced fighters. Mueller's got his goons up in New Hampshire with the Federal Marshals preparing to murder the Browns who are in a stand off for American freedom against the lackies of the Regime. The marshalls have already shot at, tasered and threatened one of the Brown's house guests for the high crime of walking a dog.

Its been 6 years since 9-11...have you thought about taking your new $40 million dollar ride over to Saudi Arabia and Morocco to talk to some of them? No?--Why not? A government is needed for the initial development of a portable weapon. As previously posted, our own government has worked on such things.

Our own experience with Los Alamos & Livermore Labs, not to mention with Aldrich Ames and Hansen, demonstrates that the government doesn't have to officially transfer the technology for it to get into the wrong hands.

There's plenty of fissionable material on the black market and so is the technology. Money is what moved zProfessor Khan to do what he did.

We need to focus on low tech methods as well, but we can't ignore this threat.

Also, I don't agree that Iran would necessarily be the most likely source. It could just as likely be North Korea or Pakastan(like with Khan) or South Africa or Russia, because it may or may not be an official government program.

It could even come from a mole within our own government or military,like Ames or Hansen or Pollard.

Why haven't the Congressional oversight committees dealt with this case of FBI homicide? Six people would be alive today if the FBI had never existed. It sounds like after the fact action by the FBI is too late. You would need all the efforts by the CIA and other intelligence services to head off any attempt to be successful. Given the lack of cooperation between the FBI and intelligence services, I am doubtful.
