Why do they want to draft Al Gore? Was Michael Dukakis not available?

"In theory i believe that happens after global warming. In a cycle of weather patterns and has lead to countless ice ages in our earths history. But cycles are never thought of anymore when their is money to be made."

How funny... you rely on a scant understanding of science and history as antecdotal evidence that todays scientists are part of an elaborate liberal scam to make money and unermine the truely benevolent oil companies, surely the non-global warming crowd isn't in it for the money, that support the GOP...

Good thing there's not a 'draftclinton.org'. Old Bill would get nervous and leave the country, again! :)

I sincerely hope this grass roots movement continues to grow. After six years of a disastrous foriegn policy, we need someone with Al Gore's experience and gravitas to redirect our "ship of state." He is the only candidate who has had the courage to stand up to our current administration. Its time to vote for experience and vision, not blind ideology. God speed to the group highlighted in this story. I am inspired to start a group of my own in the Indiana. We have not voted for a democratic presidential candidate since 1964. I really think that Al Gore could break this historical pattern. I hope others in "red states" follow this group's lead and show Al Gore public popular support.

We need as many qualified people to run in the primaries as possible. I think it is great these groups are showing their support. Al Gore has shown the environment can no longer be ignored.

Thank God we have Al Gore waiting in the wings doing God's work, and ready to jump in the race to be sworn into office as President of The United States.

Al Gore is the strongest candidate; we can no longer afford to settle for less than the best.

Special interest groups are frightened as hell and act out pathetically trying to spin grassroots campaigners negatively. But, you can%u2019t stop a progressive movement in America because the people will rise up, and it%u2019s happening all over the country.

Continue to believe in Fox News & the current administration at your own peril, or join us in securing our future!

For the love of country, vote for Al Gore in 2008.

Thousands of volunteers? Where? You only have 24 meet up groups with over ten members in them. The rest only have one or two. From what I can see your site is dwindling. And just what are you waiting for him to do that he already is not doing? Your waiting on a pipedream is exacerbating the climate crisis we face by your inaction. What are your "thousands" doing now to support his work on that? Or isn't that good enough for you?

Al Gore is BY FAR the most qualified candidate and has BY FAR the most grassroots support neccessary to secure a victory in 2008. Others are frightened by this, but do not fear -- when the dust settles between all the other candidates Gore will emerge the victor!

Al Gore is our only hope in returning to the promise of the 21st century, and building a bridge back to the future -- which this Bush administration has sabotaged with its arrogant, deceitful, traitorous, and immoral authority.

Run, Al, Run!!! We are putting together the field organization you so richly deserve. There are over 150 "Meetup" Groups across the country, gathering signatures, attending party functions, and spreading the word. Al Gore is the only Democrat who can soundly beat the Republican nominee, whomever they choose. You were right on so many issues, The war in Iraq, The Patriot Act, No Child Left Behind, and NSA wiretapping just to name a few. There are thousands of volunteers from both www.draftgore.com and www,algore.org waiting for you to give the word.

I happen to believe Al Gore when he says he does not miss politics and that he has "been there done that." To continue to harass him as if he should have to go through this again after all his years of service and what went down before when you can't even stand up to impeach Bush is hypocritical and selfish.

Al Gore is a great statesman and is not "one of them" and frankly I hope it stays that way because I think he can make much more progress regarding mitigating the climate crisis and mobilizing people to take action with the resources and freedom he has now. He has his eye on the prize. Too bad algore.org doesn't and appears to only be looking out for their own self aggrandizement.

Im a life long republican and voted for
Bush over Gore. I support the orignal plan to go into Iraq by Bush, but unless we get the ****** and sunni to sit down and work out differences and unless we get Syria and Iran to quit meddling into Iraq, we are headed 1000 percent that this will get worse and worse. I also think, it wont be long before USA drops the big one on Iran, and keeping Iran from having Nukes is important..but we need to handle this right. I feel Al Gore is the only person who can save humanity and save our country with his clear vision for our future. Otherwise, we are heading into something that will be our worse nightmare of all time..soon.
