The surge is in the early stages with 60% of troops deployed with 40% yet to be deployed and according to a new Rasmussen poll 57% of Americans wants our 110TH DO-NOTHING CONGRESS to FUND our troops if our President vetoes this spending bill that has the "surrender dates" and $20 billion in farm pork that was used by dirty Reid to bribe the two Senators from Nebraska.......Hagel and Nelson.

I am so tired of the BS being put out daily by the Repukes about the supposed 'farm pork' in the supplemental bill. I have just read the entire bill and there is nowhere listed any individual state, county, or city that is to benefit from this bill. EVERYTHING in it is national, which means there is NO PORK in the bill.

If one is unable to debate without resorting to name calling then one should not post. Open discussion with different views giving thought to the other is the manner in which this should work.Point counterpoint is that so difficult?

In retrospect, the war would be less of an issue if we simply toppled the Iraqi government and left it to the Iraqis to pick-up the pieces. Our troops would be home, less money would have been spent, and fewer Americans would have died. If there are lessons to be learned from this war, perhaps this is one of them.

There has yet to emerge any individual that can "govern" Iraq. Iraq will end up with another dictator like Saddam or splinter into three seperate nations at perpetual war. Neither of which is in the interest of the US. Now give US current policy on Iraq a thought.A unneccesary war with consequences that have yet to bear full fruit.

WALLS DON'T WORK!

Walls, historically, when built for protection does not work.

Castles had walls, just served as a trap, once the were scaled by the enemy.

The Great Wall of China, didnt work.(although did make a great tourist trap).

For those of you that have forgotten, there was a wall that divided East and West Berlin, It was Torn down, because no longer served its purpose. To keep people in not to keep people out.

Theres a Wall around New Orleans to keep water out. It did not work.

Our government is building walls on our Southern border to keep illegal aliens out. NOT WORKING.

Why waste our tax money to build something that is proven not to work?

The funny thing is, instead of congratulations, this like cliche group that plagues CBS and condemned the US Government, and the US Military, for building this wall, they insult and disparage everything and anything to keep off the topic.

Thats the true definition of Demoncrap, our loyal DNC (dontknowcrapola).

creeper00 - I will answer your question. The past six years have been great for me. The economy has been robust, my investments have done well, my retirement is secure, my home has gone-up in value, and my business (non-war related) has flourished, My children, a doctor and a performer are doing well. When I got sick, my health insurance took care of my bills. Yes, I have a lot to be grateful for.

If you look at history, you will find that, at any point in history, some people do well and others do not. I certainly have compassion for less fortunate people and give to charity generously.

In my case, a robust economy, low inflation, a good stock market, and a demand for my product have been beneficial.

Pat Robertson said the Demoncratic Party was a plague on America.

He was right.

Would this be the SAME Pat Robertson who said a Storm was sent by God to punish people for not voting the way he wanted? ROFLMAO Don't get me started on the quotes of Robertson... there's way to much there to insult any persons sense of common sense. Robertson tries to take credit for the changes brought about by LIBERAL Christian's while being a religious NAZI. To Robertson there is only ONE party and ONE religion and any way he can twist the past to make it say that is what he will do. He's nothing but a slimy snake oil salesman who pray on the week and feeble minded... PERIOD!! Sieg Heil and Amen.

MCVet

First off I do not consider myself a Christian and therefore are unable to speak for those that are. The Pat Robertson types of this world have led me away from church. I have witnessed the divisions in churchs and the blame cast upon other denominations when the blame belongs with those who have created the divisions and the distortment of the teachings.Find a church that does not either directly or subtly cast the woes of this world upon another church or the politics of this nation while at the same time supporting finacially the very matter that they oppose. Abortion is a good example, churhes oppose it and yet they in turn encourage the voting for a politician that supports mandatory abortion throught most favored nation status or tax breaks. The congregation in turn buys the goods that are made in the nations that have forced abortions. Where is the integrity in that philosphy? I would rather vote for someone who favours abortion openly than one who does so through tax breaks.

ROFLMAO Yeah right! Was that before or after he took off the Hood and Sheets? ROFLMAO The Democrat Party has a long history of producing some of this nations greatest leaders and leaders who are not afraid to take on the establishment. I think Will Rogers said it best, "I dont' belong to an organized Political Party," said Mr. Rogers, "I'm a Democrat". People who just trash a whole party and a significant part of this nation for Power, do so at great risk. You are seeing the results of that attempt right now.
