Boys, boys, boys, I've been gone for less than 24 hours and your still arguing with good old swinginrick. Doesn't look like you've made any progress in pulling his brain out of the dark ages and that is a pity. Unfortunately, I think he's too far gone to the dark side. It is easier to split the atom than have an intelligent conversation with a evangelical, fundamentalist religious zealot. Why heck, the Christians don't even get along with one another. That's why there are such a plethora of Christian churches sprouting up all over the country. With Easter soon upon us, the believers will be congregating at baseball stadiums to sing and hold hands and act like the bunch of mindless simpletons they are. Just like sheep, ignorant and dimwitted.

Bible thumping will not be allowed anymore.
These thumpers continue to not follow the ten commandments ---thou shall not bear false witness.

As far as bush goes

morals ---he has none
integrity-he has none
honesty he has none
brain ----he has none

Just to keep all of you in the loop ('cause this article is kind of vague on this), the oral arguments for this case, Hein v. Freedom from Religion Foundation, start this Wednesday, February 28th. If you care about maintaining the wall of separation between church and State, this is the case worth watching. Our founding fathers NEVER MEANT for America to be a theocracy. Period.

Naw! Not our ricky! he sticks with the legal drugs like booze! After all he wouldn't want to sin by consuming something illegal! Jesus hated illegal drugs and said so....um...well...somewhere I'm sure.....

The same place where he said he hates *** and that's....well...um....ok...so he never said that.

Well...well....you must be a non-believer who's going to hell!!!

LOL!

Are you "Curious George" the monkey?? Or is he your distant cousin? You wanna talk funny than keep claiming we all came from monkeys or pond scum! Now that's what's funny bud! Only a fool believes in that nonsense!

Just wondering if you're related to curious george. :)

What a very unchristian attitude from you ricky! Been drinking again? Sure seems like it as you're not usually the type to attempt humor. Of course you're not funny, but still....bad joke and bad insult. Work on your act a bit ricky or don't drink and post. And by the way, some people LIKE Curious George and used him to teach our children to read. It's better to raise curious children then brainwashed drones like you.

"It is you who are more worried about a popularity contest with atheists on these boards, not me. It is you who thinks Jesus is a pacifist, even though the scriptures clearly indicate He is not."

-- ooOh yeah that's I clearly remember the story when the guy Jesus so he turned the other cheek then beat the cr*p out of the guy..

..or the time he killed all those evil pigs sending then over the cliff.

Man, he'd be an major asset in today's Army since he can walk on water and stuff (think Amphibious assault.) He'd be great at cutting the need for long military supply lines to since he could feed the masses too.

Wered o these holier than thou nutt jobs get their material anyway?? .. my guess is the end of a crack pipe.

Looks like singinslick is back. Just waited until most people left so he could post his garbage in peace for awhile. Sorry slick, but I don't have time to play right now as I need sleep to go to work tonight (a real intelligent designer would have left the need for sleep out).

Good night ricky. Don't let the evil devil worshiping hateful nasty AIDS infected atheists bite.

Well, folks, it looks like the Flat Earth Society has left us for the time being. This thread has outlived any usefulness to me, so I'm gonna surf to other places.

Same here. Check out some of the threads in the World section. A few good things going on there. Other then that I'm crashing out for the day because I have to work tonight. I guess I wasn't "intelligently designed" well enough as I need to sleep sometimes. Well, that's evolution for you.

singinrick I respect your right to believe what you want as long as it's not harmful to others. I missed your opinion concerning this though. Isn't trading religious freedom of choice tantamount to prostitution? I'd trust the government about as far as I could see at the bottom of a closed up cavern. Isn't all this faith based initiative a way to force all religions to adhere to an official government set of standards? From what I read this morning that set may very well be the Moonie version. I find that simply creepy.
