Supreme Court To Hear First Amendment Case Challenging The White House's First Initiative
- This country was founded on the premise of SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE. For you idiots who insist on making excuses for including YOUR so-called "christian" *** into our government rules and spending of this great country to the exclusion of those of us who STEEPED in the *** since birth but escaped upon first independant intelligent thought. Religion is stupid and is only in existance for weak-minded people who need to beleive that their actions on earth are excused by a simple prayer.
How convenient for you simple-minded brainwashed freaks...
Keep your pagan faith out of my government.
Follow you "president" as he exits the government and watch as we close the door to his imposition of his religious views into our society and giving us - the true Americans the bill. Go to church for your theology - not to my government houses. - Reply to this comment
- This is an excellent example as to why giving "faith based initiatives" is a waste of money:
dallison7: We say God created the universe, but we don't go into Theology. Theology is the study of the Trinity, and try to interpret why He does the things He does. Creationism has nothing to do with that. We don't speculate as to why He created everything, we simply believe, and present evidence that He did. The mere definitions of Creationism, and Theology should be enough for you, but you're liberals. You need "special" help.

This individual's faith doesn't seem to have done much for him from a practical viewpoint.
And for those who cannot see the glaring factual errors in his diatribe, maybe you should pray for your God to enlighten you. - Reply to this comment

jdweymouth,
I AM a Christian. I'm just not your brand of Christian. And who are you to judge my faith anyway? - Reply to this comment

"We don't want to force our religious beliefs on anyone. We want to make you aware, and yes, we want to convert you, but if you don't want it, then we don't bother you again."
Who the hell are you trying to kid.. If that were true then there would be no anti-abortion movement, no great push to make same s.e.x marriage illegal, Christians wouldn't have forced the state of Utah to renounce plural marriage (Mormons) before they would be considered for statehood..
Christians have been forcing their views on everyone they could since time immemorial.. which makes any Christian who espouses those views while claiming not to want to force their views upon anyone, a bold faced liar. - Reply to this comment

I find it interesting. Conservatives like to portray liberals as childish. They like to say that liberals (read: anyone to their left) make irrational hot-headed comments. Conservatives are self-described as thoughtful and logical.
Upon examination of this bizarre theory, I found the opposite to be true. - Reply to this comment

skyk: We're unhappy because evolution, a dangerous and poisonous religion, is given the center stage. Good news is that many converted evolutionists believe that evolution will be gone in 20 years. Don't deny it; you people do hate Christians. - Reply to this comment

"Leave the matter of Religion to the family altar, the church and private schools entirely supported by private contributions. Keep the Church and State forever separate. With these safeguards I believe the battles chich created the Army of the Tennessee will not have been fought in vain." President U.S. Grant, Des Moines, IA, 1876

- Giving lunatics money is not only a waste of money, it encourages the spread of lunacy. Faith based intitiatives should be discouraged.
Nations that rely on "faith" are some of the most backward, poverty stricken nations on the planet (African nations, South Americas, Central Americas, Mexico, Poland, E. European nations, et al).
The US federal government is strictly prohibited from establishing a religion, any religion. That ends the discussion about funding religions, or "faith based initiatives."
It is unconstitutional. - Reply to this comment
